Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set
Got my Batman & Joker figures today.
I'm so satisfied with how Batman actually is 'in hand', that I went ahead & purchased another from Amazon today. One to display, & go crazy on, & one to keep MiB.
I was caught off guard by a couple of things on the Batman figure. One, I almost thought was a QC issue, where I thought the head sculpt wasn't painted properly. The colour on the top of the mask's scalp area, is way lighter than the rest of the mask. I checked pics on here, & it's present there as well, so maybe it's meant to be like that. Looks a bit weird to me though. The other thing was how much I actually like the cape that I was kinda complaining about before I got it Before I got it, I assumed it was, I don't know, flimsy or something, & the colour might have been a bit too shiny. But 'in hand', it's a sweet cape, & has it's own posing potential. Really nice. But the decision to include velcro to hold the cape to the suit, I think, was unnecessary. I tried to chip away at the velcro so that I could remove it from the suit, but I think it's on there pretty good, so I stopped.
My favourite mass produced Batman figure. What? Somehow it does this even with it's crazy retail price, lack of accessories, strange torso area, weird mask paint application, & unnecessary cape velcro
Joker ..... meh ..... mine came with a couple of QC issues (missing button, tear/hole in sleeve), but it's a pretty cool figure. I don't think it's something I would buy on it's own, but it is a nice complimentary piece to Batman.
Pulling the belt up slightly can make a nice difference in the way the torso looks
