Beautiful head sculpt! Really captures the spooky/scary expression that the new joker is meant to portray.

Not only that, with the neck articulation, all the more xpressive with the head tilt which HT's version can't do.

True the clothes and paint apps are not up to par (probably no funky socks). but then again, I rather get this version coz it just feels right.

I'm sure we're all gonna b divided over this just like d medi vs ss maul. Soo many choices and medicom is making me broke!

We were divided over medi maul vs ss maul? Medi hada giraffe neck and it's one of SS's best SW figs to date.

I think in hand the HT Joker will be pimp. The detail in the paint will be nicer, as well as the clothes.

I like Medi's head sculpt more then HT's version, but that's about it.

I dont like his eyes...thats about it. The best head is the DC Direct for me...his hair, well, his hair sucks.

What the Medi Joker needs are better photos of it. I wanna see the sculpt details in better clarity.

The hair color is over the top, though.

I'll let u know, when I get both of them.
But I think the Medi head will probably look a tad small on HT body.

Hot Toys is going to win in the overall quality here. I really do like the Medi sculpt though.

I'm in agreement with most people that the Medicom head sculpt is a bit better than the Hot Toys one, and that the Hot Toys clothing is better than the one on the Medicom version. I'm personally going with Hot Toys on this one, seeing as how stills of Ledger's Joker all look a little different depending on the angle. I'm not a big collector of 1/6 scale figures (I've only purchased four so far), but I've already placed a pre-order for the HT Joker -- which is really saying something about how impressive these figures look and how promising the film is based on the trailers alone. I only purchase 1/6 figures that I think look amazing, and if HT had not released their version, I'd be ordering either the DCD or Medicom ones. All versions of the Joker really reflect how much the quality and realism of 1/6 figures have become recently. This is a win-win situation, really.
