The problem comes from people wanting all of their figures to be the same size (1:6 mainly). This beautiful figure was dismissed by many because they felt it too small and wouldn't look right with their collection.

I'm not one of them...scale means nothing to me.
I'm glad to have it in my collection.

All credit for the dios goes to Reverend from The Hive.

If you're interested, he takes commisions for any of these dios (or any others you can think of).

Im a do it youself kinda guy so I dont get anyone to do my customizing.Thats why some of my marines that Ive posted dont look as good as other guys on here.I used to be right into it (model building and painting) when I was a kid,but I kinda lost touch with it over the years mainly because it became to costly and you could buy figure by mcfarelane already painted.

BTW if you like vehicle kits i.e the dropship and apc check this guys site out www.ianlawrencemodels.com

I don't think Stan Winston would have seen it your way. Arnold wouldn't.

You assume way too much, I have 2 unlicensed fan-made Predator props I had signed by Stan himself at a Comic Con and I had Arnold sign a couple of photos for me at the Arnold Classic 3 years ago and I told him about the kits and stuff we did in the GK community and thought it was pretty cool. You can also find photos of Stan signing GK fan-made items all over collector forums etc.

Stan was also completely floored when he saw the crew from the Lair in full Predator gear as did the folks from ADI last year.

You can argue all you like with fellow collectors on this forum if you wish, but at the very least, try to stick to facts rather than blowing smoke up our collective rears. There's also zero need for you to resort to name calling, I'm sure you can deliver your points without the need to insult other community members.

Ok guys, STOP right now. Next post about other users or unlicensed products is getting infracted and every post after that of the same sort will also be infracted.

This is the MEDICOM ALIEN thread, this other crap has no business in here, it shutdown the other thread because I won't allow mudslinging around here and if you bring it in here I'll punish you and close this thread down. End it, NOW!

Now THERE'S the ideal Alien figure. Great sculpt, great paint... somewhat-decent poseability, but the more iconic poses can be done anyway. And I love the mouth shots, abake! They really show off how accurate the Medi version is !
