These are the packs from the Hasbro figure, but I'm certain they're accurrate. The pack from the first half of the film, which Medi used, is identical to Boba's, actually the color scheme is just like ROTJ Boba's minus the wear and tear, and the Geonosis pack is fairly different.

Raitings are a tad too high on a few areas IMO. The sculpt is a .5 too high as is the rating on the accessories. You don't get enough items with him for the rating on the extras.

There's also no worries about breakage.

You sure? :lol I had to super glue mine cause it came apart in this area. So this raiting is WAY too high. I'll take what SS gave us with Bespin Luke over this anytime.

BTW love this line.

" You could hold out and hope Sideshow will eventually do Jango...and a Stormtrooper, and Vader, and Clonetrooper, and Boba, etc. etc. etc. - or you could bite the bullet and pick these up."

Well I think what Michael's getting at with that statement is that quality figures of those characters exist and are worth the price and even though Sideshow will likely get to them down the road, there's nothing wrong with forgoing patience and throwing a few bucks into these figures.

" I love Hot Toys body...but after playing with this guy for over an hour as I was shooting the photos, I have to say that the Medicom body is still king." -MC

I have to agree with this as well mike,I love the HT body as well. But Getting a RAH figure into a good looking pose is almost effortless. The wait for this guy is getting harder.

Given the look of HT's latest body, I'd agree Medi has the more anatomically correct body with the tightest joints. If their figure size ever becomes more inline with the rest of the 1/6 figure world and their HS's get up to par with the others, Medi could become very competitive.

Nice review-- the only thing I'd disagree about would be the accessories-- too high a rating. For the asking price a second jetpack would (and should not have been) out of the question. To not include the Geonosis pack and only include the Kamino one is shortchanging the collector out of a key element to the character.

Anyway, he's a great addition to any collection but once again SS demonstrates that it's the little things that make a big difference.

Sorry, but after that comment I just could'nt take it anymore!:lol
The key element is the figure/character,not some damn accessorie.Medi jango looks awesome,to complain about an accessorie when the figure already looks as great as he does is just plain goofy.Kamino jet-pak or no kamino jet-pak, the new Medi jango is more than enough for me,atleast Medicom made him AND Boba.

I gotta agree accessories are cool, but i don't even look at half of the ones that are included with my SS figs.

Betcha when Sideshow does their Jango, one of the jetpacks is the exclusive.

That would be too cool. But more than likely it'll be just another useless piece of plastic like we've been getting lately.:monkey2

You know, with a picture like this who cares about what company makes what? All of these figures are equally beautiful, and no matter who made them, they're excellent additions to any collection. It's not a matter of who made the figure, but rather, who makes the figures you want?

You're right. I can't wait to get Darth Maul--- what no double-bladed lightsaber?:maul That's still cool--look, he can do the splits.

No way-- the two jetpacks are essential for the character and SIDESHOW would realize that. The exclusive would be either the poncho from Kamino or the canister of slugs that he gives to Zam.

No company would ever be that thoughtless to not include both jetpacks-- I mean even Hasbro did for $40.:D

Jango already comes with a jet-pak,you make it sound as is he's missing it.
Regardless,if you really want all these accessories then maybe Hasbro and SS should be your choice.Putting on and taking off accessories can cause wear and even breakage on a figure,I would try to handle my figure's less as possible. Also maybe Medicom hasn't found a way to swap out jet-paks/accessories without making the figure look stupid.Atleast I dont have to worry about it coming off (Liea Bouhss).I like what the've done and that the've done it.Keep em coming Medicom.
