Everybody always flips out at the first in-hand pics. It's just drive-by haters. Then once the actual fans and people who like the product chime in, the consensus swings in a more positive and representative direction.

Personally, there was always going to be stuff I was going to change about this, I want a more traditional Link, something in line with Twilight Princess is good, but a more "generic" LTTP version would be grand. I have no need for that elaborate bow, or whatever the heck that beetle/hookshot thing is. I never played Skyward Sword.

The items are specifically from SS. They evdn included the Power Bracelet which is a surprice.

The tunic looks more accurate in color to the game, but the fabric is not as good, but that color was a bit darker. No excuse though.

I was already a bit unhappy with material being used for the boots, straps, pouch, etc. The material for the tunic and hat are pushing it over the edge now. Buying 1/6 from Hot Toys I've come to expect better quality when spending that much money.

Yeah, the belts and all thst stuff sucks its not leather. They seem to prefer rubber and plastic seems it cheaper I guess on most their figures.

I'm not a really big Zelda/Link fan, but seeing it's final product is disappointing. It looks so horribly cheap, especially for $250. His new tunic is awful. Looks like felt lol.

I started to have reservations about this figure when I saw Ryu's pic, back in post 442:

My real fear was to do with the tunic, which looked garish and really ill fitting in that pic. However the pics that came after it weren't so bad. Based on what I've seen, that tunic actually fits pretty well. I'm not a Zelda expert, but I don't think Link's tunic is supposed to be a close fitting garment in most of the games. I'm happy as long as it isn't a really fuzzy ill fitting piece. Some folk are saying it's a really cheap looking product, which is fair enough. Maybe I've just got lower standards.

I've got a chance to cancel but I'm going ahead with my order. I'm letting Medicom pass only because this is a video game character and the rest of the figure has a lot going for it. However it's still a cheat as most people who pre-ordered were partly influenced by the prototype outfit.

Just paid for my at hlj with fedex. Probably should have sprung for the extra 2 bucks to get ems but only because ems will delivery on saturdays through usps and fedex won't I believe. No big deal though. Hopefully hlj gets it out soon and if I'm really lucky I'll have it by the end of the week, if not, early next week. Either is fine. Excited!

Would be pretty cool if this figure costed $75-100. Personally, price does feed into expectations. But this definitely does look like something Mattel could crank out. Nothing about it screams "high end."

I miss the days of $75-$100 1:6 figures …and I wouldn't say Mattel, maybe more like 2009-10 sideshow quality.

This IS a $160 dollar figure, the people saying it's $250 are going with NA suppliers that are having to import it so it's price is getting jacked up to give them an actual profit margin. And the other group are having to pay stupid high priced shipping which pushes it close to $200. Which is what I roughly paid…
