So does he have any articulation at all???
I love this figure but no way I'm stumping up $90 for this ($20 shipping and $10 tax).

Wondering why anyone is defending the horrid 12" Hasbro stuff. The Medicom Wicket blows anything related away.Hasbro 12" stuff shouldnt even be allowed on here :lol :lol

How about we let the Hasbro stuff slide by and not allow stupidity and censorship ... yeah, that sounds good :monkey3

Douglas, why do you take things so personally, the person was just making a joke about how they feel about Hasbro, relax a little.

Ya know, the thing that irks me about your comment is that I had every hasblow 12" figure and Supported line when that was the only thing available.I feel as a person who collected Hasbro and once supported them, has the right to say their stuff sucks now.then came Sideshow and Medicom announcing their 12" Starwars.....hmmm no brainer.I sold my collection (for dirt cheap) to my nephew to upgrade to superior 12" figures in Sideshow and Medicom....But your more than welcome to talk about Hasbro if you want and enjoy the horrid hasbro sculpts compared to whats out now.I was cutting on their stuff, but meant no harm by it.Stuff is better sculpted these days and I dont know why people get upset when you say something bad about something 10 years ago when today sculpts are better.70,80's,90's toys vs 2007 toys Sorry but upgrading is needed

Saying older products aren't great for certain reasons compared to older products doesn't take away the value of the old. Hasbro put out a fine product for it's time and the price range they were working in. As pictures of Indy 12" from Hasbro show, they've come some way from their older stuff, but still overall aren't at a Sideshow level, but they're not aiming for that, they're aiming for kids. However, to make a comment that an older Hasbro figure that was at it's best, effective at representing a character and speak of it in a manner that it can easily take the place of a newer product that visually is phenominal at representing the material basically raises a challenge, and I don't think anyone could see the Hasbro, Medicom, and film Wicket side by side and not see the strengths over the Medi sculpt over the Hasbro figure. Again, our old collectibles have value, but to see how far things can come along now adays is crystal clear. 1970's Hasbro figures had 5 joints, now many of them have that many in one limb, and old school figures had cheesy painted eyes and bland generic faces, where now some damn near capture every bit of the actor, as best as something that small can, but there's still a joy in having the vintage figures.

The new 12" Indy looks like a Sideshow release aside from the whip handle

The Hasbro 12" Indy is indeed pretty impressive for a mass-market $20 offering. We'll see if the production pieces match the prototype.

In any case, it simply WILL NOT hold a candle to the SSC version. Trevor's sculpt alone guarantees that.

He looks cute and all but i think that doing a Wicket could of waited, i'm used to seeing the VCD with big heads and small bodies, this is just a regular figure to me where C-3P0 on the other hand, looks like the newer VCD, and much "Cuter" They should and hopefully can do a Chewy, Jango Fett, and a Jawa

MASSIVE bump merely to say that I just cancelled this one (along with the POTC Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swan)... I hated the furballs when I saw ROTJ and I couldn't bring myself to shell out $60+ (taxes... shipping... custom fees...) to what amounted to a non-articulated representation of a character that I have absolutely no interest in. Especially as there's so much good stuff about to be arriving in this final quarter.

Finger still poised on the cancel button for the Gandalf Exc. PF....

Think I'll wait a little longer on that idea---

Anyone else flush this little teddy bear down the proverbial order drain?:chew

So why'd you order it in the first place?

WARNING
The following message has not been approved by MaulFan. Read at your own risk.I ordered as the completist in me won out as usual. I cancelled as I recently came to my senses in regards to what's on the horizon and what I had on order. I bumped this thread to see if there were any other like-minded individuals who also ordered originally but have since thought long and hard about what they want to spend their money on and have subsequently (as I have) decided to re-evaluate their purchases.

Couldnt see the attraction of wicket tbh id have probably ordered it had I got the Rebel Endor Commando's but I didnt have the mulah for those either

Ill wait for this one

P.S.

peace love and harmony its just a toy
