Medicom's R2 and 3PO

I think Hasbro have done a excellent job with 3p0 these last few years, love the Endor and newest TVC version.

The face sculpt on this one is far better then Medicoms, i just hate the removeable panels with the exception of the back panel.

I quite like the TVC C-3PO, but it's far from accurate (and of course there's only so much "accuracy" you can fit into such a small figure).

This is true Icruise, i am impressed with how great the face sculpt turned out on the TVC version and the articulation,removable right calf etc.. i wish it had a light up eye function that you could leave on instead of the removable panels.

The face looks so off in this pic, though i will say it looks a tad better with the eyes lit up.

I think my money is going to SSC for these guys, especially after getting a glimpse of their 3p0 PF.

It's the reflection in the pic, makes it look a little slimmer. The vid proves it to me. Looks great, now gohastings needs to get them lol.

Now that we have closer shots, I see a lot of details that appear to be off (although I'm certainly no expert -- I'm basing this mostly on a comparison with my Sideshow C-3PO, and that's not perfect either). His eyes seem too deeply recessed, or else they made his nose stick out too much. And I don't know what that indentation where his right nipple would be is. Did he ever look like that in the films? A dent maybe? I also don't think he should have that triangular area on his chest sticking out under his neck. I also think the pistons on his arms appear to be the wrong shape in places. Oh well, still looks pretty good overall.

R2's dome is definitely undersized.

It's like I said before... these things aren't even in scale with themselves.
