That chewie's from kotobukiya soft vinyl kit series.
I got him for $30 last year and I just cut the vinyl pegs under the feet to apply SS starwars logo stand.

I know Medi's are normally highly priced but i was in Forbidden Planet in London last week & they had these guys in the big display wall, nice lookin figures........£370.............each !

Man, if the proportions were better, I would have already found a way to buy these. The droids are definitely 1/6 grails.

When Sideshow (or Hot Toys) makes these, one thing I would like to see for the light up feature is the ability to turn off the projector light, if possible.

I used SS starwars stands.
I was waiting for sideshow version of droids,
but they won't make them w/n two years so..
Probably they will make decent and more affordable figures, but detail wise SS can't beat medicom.
These are truly gem of starwars 1/6 collection.
I didn't plan to buy those, buy after I saw them in person at local figure shop.
I can't resist.

When these guys came out the talk was how the price would drop substantially just like every other SW figure out there. But medi Vader took eons to drop, ditto stormies and Boba Fett. And SS Vader and stormies seem to be getting costlier.

The more I see these figures the more I like them and the harder it is to resist snapping them up for $400 shipped to Oz. I can't see them dropping for ages, and my thinking is why wait two years and miss out on enjoying them for all that time?

What do you guys think... are these droids going to drop any time soon?

actually droids are not that small compared to the others.
I'm satisfy with them.
And according to starwars.com database.
3po is 5cm shorter than Luke, which portraits exact scaled height differences b/w those figures.

Dang you!! I saw Luke and Han in hand and did not like the HS but seeing your display I realized that without them I just dont have a SW section and ordered Luke from Toys2 and still trying to get Han from a seller here .. Thanks a lot Crap still have to find some kind of Chewie

I am totally agree with Lejuan.
These droid sets are very limited especially in us ,due to high price. Even major online venders ordered only few. So I think they will dry up easily. I don't think price will drop anytime soon.
I agreed that they are overprice.
Even though they are the best droid sets evermade.

Obviously the person thinks it is so cool/funny/interesting or whatever to do it. Like 'look at me, I can spend this much on these things and just wreck them', but to think that complete waste of money could have gone to a charity or something.

Well yes it's hard to watch - and not simply because it's a really expensive and cool figure being wantonly trashed... but because this is obviously a grown man who is exhibiting the mindless destructive capacity normally not observed in humans older than five.

There comes a point in our maturation where normal human beings appreciate that beauty needs to be nurtured and maintained.

I didn't watch this vid with the sound turned up, but I imagine it was accompanied by a lot of incomprehensible grunting not heard in these parts since the stone age.

I ordered a c-3po vinyl medicom from SW shop and it had a chip in the paint... I enquired about it and they sent me a replacement no questions asked, didn't even have to send the damaged one back.

usually, pics are good enough for them, but I guess some people shoot video's just to make it more theatrical. I remember a board member running over his Predator mask with his truck last year
