Medicom's R2 and 3PO

I have to say these guys do look great. Medi's C-3PO face seems off to me, but it must be very subtle because when I look at screen caps, all the details are there. I definitely applaud Medicom for their efforts (just not their prices ). I must concede though, if C-3PO's likeness was better and the proportions between the two droids were correct, these would have already been purchased, regardless of price.

Medicom seems to make the best Star Wars figures. Even Medicom's Yoda has a better likeness than Sideshows. The R2-D2 Rocks!!

I'll have to side with Nam on this one.

Medicom has some nice figures, but they've only made a handful, and there are some real duds in there as well.

The eyes are too close and the "rim around the head looks thicker partially because the grooves are too thick but as usual these figures are awesome in hand and these flaws get blown up when you take upclose shots and compare them with the movie stills. If my eyes had build-in zoom I would probably not have bought these but with my aging vision these will only look better with time
Oh crap didn't notice the giraffe neck on this either arghhhhhhh

Well, I broke down and ordered these two. They just look too nice in all the pics.

10% off at Viking for R2 and over $30 in rewards points at AlterEgo for 3PO made the price more palatable. Still overpriced but, oh well, I'll finally have all the main ANH figures on my shelf now.

Yep, good calls on the likeness, they also missed the angular faceplate details around the mouth, again though awesome figures and I would jump on them if not for the scale.

Pictures don't do these figures justice. When I got mine, I was impressed how awesome these look in-hand.

That price is insane, regardless how incredible the figure is.
