You let your toys bother you like that? See i guess i just never understood that. What matters to me is if they look cool on the shelf, and are done well. Height comes second to me if at all. I just can't see getting all bent out shape for .4 inches or whatever it is. Medicom RAH'S are 300mm. (11.8 inches i believe) Now if Medicom figures were 9 inches i'd have a problem. Anyways the Medicom scale issue is such a dead issue and non-factor to me i don't even know why i addressed it LOL.:peace(I'm more concerned about sloppy paint apps, and Loose body's and fragility issues. Supposedly Medicom has taken care of the latter. Not sure about SS on how they're doing on the loose body's dealio, but that paint always worry's me.)

Anyways if a 3po deal is around someone let me know!
:peace

I know man, I wish it didn't bother me. I traded in my Medi Stormie for the SS one because even though he held a great pose, I couldn't handle him looking so small next to Vader (even though everything looks small next to Vader). Stormie's ankle joint snapping like a dried twig under gentle reposing no doubt played a part in my disappointment with the figure.

If I displayed my toys all over the place like I do at work, scale wouldn't matter to me - it's only when the figures are on the one shelf as they are at home that it really does bother me.

Anyways, if there's a cheap shrink around someone let me know! I've just discovered that I might be more OC than I thought.

It's funny you say that if the figures were 9", that would bother you more than them being slightly (1/2"?) out of scale. With me it would be the opposite. If the figures are 9", then you know it's just a whole different line and different type of collectible. The difference in scale is purposeful and obvious that they are not trying to be part of the same group. But if it's just slightly off, it seems like a mistake. They missed the mark by such a small amount, you know they were TRYING to be accurate but fell short.

But yes, these two are damn cool. However, I'm fine with waiting for Sideshow's version.

That's the thing though, Medi isn't "trying" to be in scale with others. So it's not a "mistake". They know what they're doing, and they don't care. Nor do they make any apology's(which i kinda respect) Just part of Medicom's whole stylized way of doing things. I guess you either like it or hate it.

I am not supporting either side but truth of the matter most figures aren't really to scale. Few figures vary in height most use the same body thus indicating either all actors / actresses are the same size or scale is off.

Medi's downfall is they don't line up well with other 1:6th figures but the same can be said about SS Vader (to the other extreme). Not certain why all the hate on Medi when reality is SS, Medi and HT can all be held accountable for inaccurate scale.:dunno

:exactly:
every company makes mistake on scale. Besides, I really doubt any of the 1/6 company would make their product based on the size of others anyway.

But looking at Vader and their Clone Troopers, Medi's not even to scale with themselves (he's also more than just "1/2"" out of scale). :huh

:lol yeah, you gotta give them credit for sticking to their guns!

You guys are wasting your time. Medikids have been blowing off the scale issues for 6+ years now. They've long since dug in, buried their heads in the sand and circled the wagons on that one. :lol

So true....:lol

The issue I have with Medicom's scale is that scale isn't just height, it's overall proportions. All of the Medicom figures I've had looked like scrawny teenagers.

I for one am not blowing off ANYTHING. I honestly couldn't give two ____s. I just feel the need to reply to some that might feel the same way, but are not sure yet cause of inexperience. And might not be actually bothered by it until they see it's nothing to worry over.

Proof i could give a ____ about it.
