Did you unlock mission 18 in VR? I literally dumped 8 hours into it yesterday and didn't get anywhere. It's four waves: tripods and 1 Gekkou/ tripods and two Mastiffs/ tripods, 2 berzerkers and 1 fenrir, tripods and a Grad. I got to the Grad once. Bare in mind that it's on revengenace mode and it's one hit kill. I can get to the third wave fairly easily but Fenrir always kills me.

Just finished the story mode. Man what a ride! Loved every minute of that ****. Only gripe is I wish it were longer,much longer. Cannot get enough of slicing fools to bits. Well done platinum games. Looking forward to a sequel.

so far I have played for 11hrs and I just beat sundowner. WOW !! what a great fight that was.. loving this game.
bought gray fox costume now saving for the fox blade.
I cant wait. will be playing all nite tonite.

First play through took me 6 hours second play through took 5 LOL. short *** game not going to get fox blade or else game would be WAY TOO EASY!

sunny " IGNITION" OMG when the soundtrack kicked in on the shuttle launch I had chills all over. This game is unreal.

Metal gear games always have amazing soundtracks. I am at the base now and the soundtrack playing is nothing but mega epic.

also had a hard time beating that turd at first. but it was way more easier when i had the wig b... just got the trophy for beating him without damages..

I just beat the game !! OMG this was such an incredible game.
The final fight with armstrong was so unreal!!! JESUS MY GOD !!
the soundtrack in that fight is just UNREAL.

when wolf showed up with the sam's sword OMG !! chills all over.
now its time to play all over again to beat it 100% all achivements.
I am doing a review of this game for sure.

I will do it thursday.
10/10 for me all the way.

METAL GEAR FOREVER and yes bring on more more raiden game.

It is amazing how 180 everyone's opinion turn around on this game. A week ago, everyone was saying how it sucks and hope it is not canon and now it is like the second coming.

It's just a good entertainment, Onimusha style. Not a good game overall, but ppl are ppl

It does sound like a game I would enjoy but I will wait for the price to drop. I mean six hours of gameplay is just too short in today's economy. It is like the developers are not even trying.

I really only pay full price for a game that will give me at least sixteen to twenty hours of gameplay. Glad I went with Dead Space 3 cause that game is SICK and I am on my second play through and it still scares the bejesus out of me!

Thats the thing, this game is not the kind of game at all where you are meant to play through the story mode and thats it. Its a game where you play it over and over to get new skills, learn how to fight better. Its extreme fun. The gameplay is made up by how much the game makes you want to play it again. I got it in the morning, finished it by the afternoon and i went straight back to the start of the game the same day.

Theres great satisfaction in completeing it the first time, and then having a second play through with your updated abilities, look and weapons carried over and your knowledge of how to fight that makes you feel like a badass. And then comes the 3rd play through when youve mastered it even more.
