Im really starting to get pissed off at Monsoon clone on Very Hard. I start the battle with mistral, finish it fairly fast and still have 5 rations and most of my health bar. Monsoon comes, then im screwed. I dont know what it is, well i know alot of it is to do with the camera angles looking exactly where he isnt when hes jumping about so ive got no chance of evading or parrying. Its his sai that i cant avoid in direct battle too. I maybe counter it 1 out of 5 times but he gets a combo on me and then i cant touch him.

All Metal Gear games pale in comparison to Aliens Colonial Marines.
This is my first time playing through VH. i did easy, normal & hard. Ironically i just got the suit which stores twice asmuch health and i only needed to use 1 ration. I ended up using the sai blades for the first time and it is really the only way to take him on for me
But I mean, did you take no damage? I couldn't do it, he would always have something that would sneak through.
He's going to make Revengeance mode with all S ranks impossible. I had all S ranks on VH until him.
Armstrong is kicking my *** at the moment. Its annoying because i know how to beat him. Its just for some reason his punches and kicks have a radius of about 10 in-game ft now. So you can be keeping distance and his "swoosh" from his move can get you.
Even more annoying was i had him down to about 70% health with about 4 rations stocked but i got complacent and he ended up killing me. What a knob rash

i made a video further along, after the post came where i activated my white raiden where i am fighting sam. Thats uploading at the moment too, Nothing spectacular but i thought given its a rare DLC code id upload it

Im not an expert at the game, thats not why i uploaded them. So i will **** it up at times. Im also not looking for feedback, theyre just up.

He should be no harder, if not easier, if you kicked the real Monsoons ass!
When he turns purple, throw an EM Grenade (tap L2, no need to aim) to knock him out and run in for the attack!

180% here. I will get the last one once I do Revengeance mode with S ranks, that is if I can...
I actually got the last health upgrade i needed this time around. The one i apparently kept missing was at the top of some metal containers stacked in the corner of the aircraft hanger on the final level

It's handy to have, if you're going to do Revengeance Mode
Players on Youtube make Revengeance Mode look so easy.
I guess you just gotta be very familiar with the game, with patience and Parry most attacks.
Yeah from memory it's there.
Usually they are in the Item Boxes you have to use Blade Mode to cut open.

Some peeps say that you can still attain s rank on revengence against him if if you have high combos and you picked up the item dropped by the things you sliced. even without the no damage bonus. imma try it out later
Really? I will need to keep that in mind when I start Revengenace mode.
Yup 200% on Health & Fuel Cell.
Still playing through Very Hard....just finished mistral. Damn, I still cant do a perfect parry counter.
She was fairly easy for me, still took a few tries. Monsoon is impossible so I opted out of a perfect. Hopefully I can maybe do it on Revengenace.
