I'm currently on Sam on Revengeance mode. I beat him with a perfect, but you need a to get a certain level of combos and BP during the battle.

**** Platinum Games and their stupid requirements for S ranks...

I'm too crap to go for S Ranks. I can't even get them on normal. I mean i've had a few but to get all battles in S is too hard for.

If it's not a cyborg using an rpg of machine and killing my "no damage" it's the Robots and their missiles or other attacks

I've beaten him twice already with no damage and I didn't get it again. **** the developers, seriously. Especially Monsoon.

Monsoon should have been the final boss. He was the most challenging boss of them all, IMO.

Still playing through Very Hard....just finished mistral. Damn, I still cant do a perfect parry counter.

Finally defeated armstrong on very hard...damn I died so many times, even though I thought I know most of his patterns already. The amount of damage a headbutt he does to me is too damn high.

Not sure if I'll even want to finish revengence mode now...just so irritating.

When Armstrong turns Green, I hit the cut point and then Blade Mod him with Wig B on and get his health down to 0.1%.

Let him do his cut scene and finish him off with the Quick Time Events.

This was on Hard level.

Ok so I got the HF Wooden Sword... Is that also the Snake's Soul Sword?

And by the looks of it, you have to reduce (down-grade) the strength of the sword?

Also got the HF Machete.

Yeah, you just have to play around with the pose.

Have a look through his Moves List when Customising him and see if you can get any good ideas...

I was able to get the S last night... but I didn't get his trophy? I had to revisit a older chapter to get a S rank so did they screw up my whole S rank run? If I beat chapter 7 with a S and I have to redo the whole run I'm going to kill myself...

From what I read from the guidebook, you need an S on every ranked fight, not just the chapter itself. But it doesnt states if you need a one perfect run with all S rank or you can go back n try again.

the Snake's Soul Sword is a DLC, have to wait till they release it.

The HF Wooden sword has a special property that you can upgrade & it will increase the chance (up to 20%) of causing opponents to disappear instantly.

This sword will be useful if you are after the "Lover not a fighter" trophy/achievement. Since it can't kill, you also can't do any Zandatsu with it. With wig b, you can almost do infinite combos on any enemy until they disappear into thin air.

I'm assuming if an enemy disappears it doesn't count as a kill then?
