I figured since you can check your rankings through each difficulty. The problem is I got a S on R-06 against Sam but I didn't get his hard or above trophy with no damage which doesn't make sense...
I'm fighting Excelus right now.
Yup. But there are exceptions where the wooden blade actually kills your enemies. Stealth kills will count as a kill, also bosses quick time events like the first battle with wolf, if u initiate the quicktime event, it will count as a kill as well.
According to the guidebook, you need 10 no kill bonus on ranked matches in story mode on 10 different occasions.

hmm...that's weird, maybe you can try the PS3 trophies forum, Im sure the ppl there can help u with it.

Well I was able to pull off a S rank on Armstrong, wasn't nearly as difficult as it's made out to be. For whatever reason, I didn't get Sam's no damage trophy but I did get the Armstrong no damage trophy and the "Become a Lightning God" trophy for completing Revengeance mode with all S ranks.
I think the trophy glitch is, if you choose his chapter to play instead of playing a game save that spills into it from R-05 you won't get the trophy for no damage bonus. So I will probably replay Hard mode to get the no damage trophy on Sam, should be pretty easy considering I got a perfect S rank on Revengeance mode.
I just got the wooden sword and I need to get the stun rod.
You have no idea how happy I am that the Revengeance S rank run is over...
I also happen to get my White Raiden in the mail! It's awesome, didn't expect it today at all. I will post pics up this weekend. I can't wait to get the Black version and other variants.

Id completed the game on all 6 difficulites, unlocked and "bought" everything ect. So i decide to go to " new game " instead of chapter or continue. Im part way in to the first chapter and i have to leave so i knock it off. I put the game back on, i now have no chapter select or anything, all my outfits are gone, all my power ups and im FORCED to play revengeance mode!! Ive got like a 2 inch life bar and no good weapons or wigs or anything! wtf?!?!!

Im the opposite. I have ALL the dlc and the white, reg, and inferno figures purchased but havent really played it. Tomorrow will be my b-day mgr marathon. Im excited.

I made the same mistake after my first playthrough. Although I was good enough to get the Fox Blade and max it out in the same day. If you get a lot of S ranks you can accumulate a few hundred thousand points in a couple chapters.
Did anyone try Monsoon on Revengeance mode? It's without a doubt the hardest accomplishment I've ever encountered in nearly 20 years of gaming. Getting a S rank against him seems utterly impossible, although you build up a lot of skill against him and does wonders when you fight the AI clone in R-04 which is a hellva lot easier.
I will probably be very close to the Platinum this week since I only need to mop up a few more trophies since the Revengeance S rank run is finished. The Codec convo trophy will take a lot of time but so less stressful than anything else.

I got a no damage run against him in revengence mode. What i did was dodge the last set of tanks and choppers he threw at me. The last piece always tend to hit me so i did a sliding blade mode towards his direction to cut it instead of getting hit

Yeah, I read it was a Japan only release at the moment.
But they both look the same, hence why I thought they were both the same sword

So I am thinking of upgrading it but leaving the Strength as it is...
Or is it best to upgrade (reduce) the Strength of it too?

To anyone who has the White Raiden, does anyone have issues with posing the arms? Like when you bend them at the shoulder horizontally does it dip back into it's original position? I think their using a cheaper plastic.
They should of used the same material and plastic they used on Gray Fox. That shoulder system is the best they have done so far.

Haven't got mine yet but I just got to monsoon and holy crap is this a hard person to beat so very frustrating good thing I have the white armor code so I can get some extra Nano paste

You're not in the US are you Jason? I tried mine and I'm in the US and it doesn't work for this region.

i think theyre usuing the sam gideon type shoulders. theyre super hard to loosen and feel like theyre going to break. didnt get mine yet but ill keep this in mind when pre checking and cracking all the joints. btw did you download the vr missions yet i think they just came out today. seems like theres like 40 new ones.
Not yet, I will when I get home. So glad DLC isn't essential to get a Platinum trophy, although I will try to get the DLC trophies.
do you mean the skin dlc or the vr dlc? the vr one is free so why would it matter? all the skin ones are pretty ez to get except for the commando armor.
