i was thinking about buying a sheet of blue foil like this

so you can cut and wrap several strips around the blade

That kinda looks like what I used for my Predator mask lens.

That might be better to use, it wouldn't damage the sword at all and would be easy to replace.

i wouldnt kiva, i do vinyl wrapping and depending what grade you get itll either be cheap with nasty adheisve that may pull the paint off or you get too stiff stuff that wont wrap around something so small and youll have to heat it to bed it properly. not worth it but good idea. i just thought of something, maybe you could cut it into little thin decals. youd have to have a graph so you could cut perfectly though.

Im not going to completely cake the blade with it. A few strategic placed pieces here and there. i think its fairly low risk, ive did similar stuff before. I think the payoff would be worth it to have an active HF blade

I'd like to get some red for the Sam blade I'm working on.

I picked up another RAIDEN PAK figure at retail ($68 delivered) to keep MIB - I don't normally do that, but man oh man is this is an attractive and fun figure to own.

Lots of impressive articulation and an incredible design and sculpt that really looks great thanks to the paint apps.

I really hope the "Meat Suit" Raiden is as impressive - I've got two of that one on order too (one to play with, one for MIB)

Meanwhile, Anime-Island isn't sure if they receive a second shipment (their previous shipment had their Raiden-quantity cut) and I'm starting to get a little pessimistic.

And THERE is the rub with Anime-Island.

I pre-ordered a "Meat Suit" Raiden with them as well as another online site just to ensure I'd at least get one. Anime-Island selling a certain amount of their IN STOCK Raiden figures on Amazon for $150 each blows my mind too...even if they sold even 1 of them at the inflated price, that means they cut someone who'd preordered the figure short...

Anime island hasn't gotten the orders yet. They posted so high because it gives them a chance to send out the backordered preorders without people ordering more of them. They don't even have enough to fulfill the original orders. Its a problem with square enix. This is why everyone is selling them so high too. There isn't enough to go around. This is so dumb because they intend to make five versions and now they can't even make enough of the original. Why there is 25000 white ones is beyond me.

But this is my first pre-order from them, my first Play Arts Kai figure in general, and my optimism keeps dwindling. Sorry for *****ing; I'm just anxious.

Custom Jetstream Sam High Frequency blade. Not too much of a custom since I took a Solidus sword and painted it red

I think it came out pretty good. Although I'm not sure if the color is accurate but it isn't even consistent in the game itself. At times it looks like a dark crimson and then it's more of a lighter colored red, like almost glowing and not I don't mean the electrical currents.

Thanks, it's not the smoothest paint job ever but it works. I might try to see if I can finish that M4 scabbard but I absolutely stink at sculpting.

I doubt they actually made 25000 of the whites ones. I bet that's just the maximum they were willing to make had the Limited Edition version sold really well.

I highly doubt they made more of a limited varient that the original release

I wasn't sure what color to use since it seems to be different colors at different times. It seems to be overall dark, I don't think I could repaint it but I think it does the job. To make it more accurate I would need to cut the hilt off altogether and give it a new hand guard.

Hopefully PAK does a Sam of they're own and I just steal it and give it to Raiden.
