With any other Ray the head pretty much has to be the focal point

Seems like REX and RAY need a custom platform or a large enough table to pose them on. I wouldn't even try fitting them in a detolf .

I was talking about the top of a detolf, not in it. The tumbler can fit on top of 2 detolfs

Oh. Well, the only problem with placing them on top of a detolf, is that they'll be so high up near the ceiling that you won't get a good view of them. Personally, if I were displaying these, I'd have them on a table or something low where you can actually stand over them and take in all of the details.

You might get ray by himself across 2 detolfs but his base would hang over the edge by about 4.5cm.

I had rex and ray sitting on top of there boxes for ages, finally sorted out a better place to display them,

If thats your picture dude its friggin awesome!!! What a nice display! When i get a new spot im gonna buy up some art and take my **** to the next level. My stuff is so crammed in one spot i have to intricately layer stuff so it looks good. The paks look really nice in there.

Got my first PAK today and yea... I think I'm gonna stop after getting Rising Raiden next week... Not too thrilled with the pose-ability and this just being a gigantic Revoltech with less articulation. Looks nice though but not being able to properly kneel is a bummer.

not sure what you mean "properly kneel". mine does that just fine. you have to manipulate the ratcheting hip joint around to get a nice crouch. you should try getting your hot toys in the background to do a nice crouch, @ at least $250 a pop i doubt they can even do it.

Yep its crazy..... best articulation on a figure is the 1000Toys Synthetic Human..... Hot Toys can be pretty crappy for it

Jack can kneel no problem, best Hot Toys figure to date IMHO, Iron Patriot is another one with good pose-ability

I think my main issue with PAK Snake is he has no proper ab crunch, while i can get him to kneel it doesnt look natural

Yea maybe I'm just being too critical since this was my first PAK and I'm used to other figures with more articulation. I think the revol mini spoiled the fun

PAKs are an acquired taste, they really can be. You have some hits (most of the MGS line, Batman line, Devil May Cry) some misses (Isaac Clarke, Drake, Man of Steel) and even some underrated gems (Kratos, Nero).

I think, only a few PAKs can't kneel. Isaac, and Ezio (he's an older one and had enough articulation issues so I give this a slight pass) for instance can't do it well.

You should be able to squeeze ray up on your display. He's just under 22 inches the way he's posed in my pic, but the display stand will overhang the front of the detolf a little which is kind of a bummer.
btw your setup is looking schmick man
