I hope the right leg could be done alittle as well.
Having damage only on the left side would be rather strange especially
if anyone is going for the mgs4 ver like me.

Solidus looks good, i have the make up my mind choosing between
Being broke with IronMonger or Solidus with some remaining savings.

REX's right leg was intact in MGS4 so it is accurate.

Looks great! But judging from the pics they might have forgotten to make the "toe breaks/anchor" retractable. I don't think they're supposed to pivot like that. REX only ever had them out on two occasions: (1) when it was crushing Gray Fox and (2) when it needed to stop after escaping the hanger in MGS 4.

Not a big deal - just the trend of when figure companies get so absorbed in doing the "greater" things, that small details get overlooked.

Well, from what we saw in a few mere seconds it looks that way but the cover for the 2 missile (?) pod are definitely gone.

The missile covers being removed isn't damage, in MGS1 when it fires them after it sits on it's support struts it ejects them off. Their not hatches.

In those pictures the right is intact while the left is completely stripped of armor plates.

True, but in MGS1 all 6 came off - but here the second one on the right leg remains.
Making me wonder - who took the armor off ? it wasn't that badly damaged in MGS1
Actually a part of armor came off the right leg as show here & in the artwork

I know we can't hope for 100% accuracy, but i still hope it could be done.

We'll have to make a checklist of the features that were neglected on this figure. There are probably several more that weren't noticed yet.

just to remind you that you needed to shoot the radome with missiles to disable rex's tracking system in the game thats why his whole left side was damaged. so, naturally itd be broken mostly on that side. if you look at the art work thats exactly what is shown broken. even the left side of the right leg is a bit broken because of stuff flying from the left side of him on impact. i mean if you count in physics. i think its silly that you can break down his left leg so much. besides that, the purple lights, and the limited head movement they should just add more crap to it and delay it longer. i got a better idea, lets make an emma Emerich figure to pilot rex.

they just look like the Medicom RAHs from MGS4.

Also no note of it from the SS Newsletter (Rex that is). So looks like mid Nov , unless us Bambaland people get em quicker.

what you think is Liquid is just Kaz Miller- he looks a lot like Liquid.

Has anyone a good place for a fellow german freak to order the 3a Rex?! I´m not into MGS that much anymore, but THIS thing, is just maybe the best piece I´ve ever seen...

on ebay theres starts of preorders for mgs revengeance raiden, a raiden revengeance headsculpt. and a custom 24" metal gear rex. rex looks pretty close to 3a's. the head is too big though. and the person put way too many blue led on it too.
