Nah, unfortunately not. I missed out on the Bambaland pre-order and opted for Sideshow instead. But yeah, I feel ya man. It must suck immensely, having to pay Bambaland for an order nine to ten months in advance . I would have been annoyed too, if I ordered REX from Bamba and didn't get it earlier than everyone else.

If you plan on getting the pilot expect to pay a **** load and the Bamba REX is shipping until the very end of the month probably.

nice man i feel like it took forever to get mine. the joints feel real delicate. be careful!!! i had to take her hand off to get the gun in it, it goes in real tight.

Yeah, I've got the Koto kit on order too! The Old Snake figure on ThreeA REX is a nice addition. I wish I had one - might have to hunt one down on EBay or elsewhere. Hopefully, the prices won't be too ridiculous .

How long have you kept those Mcfarlane figures? Do they not yellow or gather dust being exposed like that?

Also, my Yamato Liquid Snake seems to need constant dusting. How's yours?

no i just keep them clean dusting everything weekly. the key is not to expose them to the sun. ive had my mcfarlane ones for a long time. i wouldnt put greyfox with raiden, i have everything sectioned off by game.

Looks like there is wrong text about batteries on the box, as manual says about simple AAA batteries. I sent an inquiry to HK about this.

Here are few things, which I can say for RAY for now:
he will be available in first half of 2013;
I know that few people are interested in tail version, unless there will be any drastic changes. KOJIMA approved only non-tail version;
currently engineers are working on the open mechanism of his mouth and cockpit, as it's a tough cookie to crack;
making him to hold his pose and balance is another tough challenge.

Thank goodness it doesn't take some weird obscure battery like Ambush.

I could always use the money so it was tempting to just think of selling Rex since initial impressions weren't too positive, but now he's sounding quite awesome.

That's an AWESOME price for that figure. I had one back in 2009, but sold it off in a bundle with the other 20th Anniversary MGS UDF figures.

Gimbat must of put some kind of voodoo over this thread lol. Anyways glad more are accepting Rex. The review that gimbat posted ran shivers up my spine. I think the reviewer was spot on when he said Rex will be the centerpiece in many a collection.
