Rex looks just as awesome as it did before in all the other pics, glad to see the crying come to a halt.

Sorry dude, but if "crying" means vocalizing your concerns about something that you paid good money for, but fell short of your expectations - then it's a legitimate thing to do.

For the most part, I've come to accept REX for what it is. It's not the figure that I had in mind, but according to the review that Gimbat posted, it's one that we should expect with high anticipation. But, it should also be worth mentioning that some other SSF members from before had contrary opinions as well. All in all, I think it's best for everyone to evaluate REX for themselves when they get it in hand - and weigh the pros and cons.

Despite everything, this was always my most anticipated figure of the year

That pic is awesome. This inconsistency with the colour in pics is driving me crazy though. In one its bright puke green the next its gunmetal grey. I really hope im happy with it (color-wise) when it arrives!

The color at this point doesn't bother me as much as the beak light. I mean if the lights are going to hinder articulation, GET THEM RIGHT!

lol true. I think they have a light at either side of the beak but not the one on the front like in MGS4. Its cool that they have one in the controls but really they are all unnecessary. Get the basic done first then you can put all the trimming together

I'm home on Weekends and I only work Monday-Friday. I'm still waiting on the Postal truck to deliver it. Once I get it and get some time with it I will post a picture of my whole PAK MGS collection.

My girlfriend is getting me Miller PAK for Christmas most likely.

Seriously, he's a complete bust in the entire line. I'm surprised he isn't just being given away at this point. I don't care about his box in particular.

well i got him into some decently cool poses. but, his wrists are pointless, his elbows are ridiculous, and his hair makes him have next to no neck articulation. oh well i bought him to complete the set. he is a very cool looking figure but not very dynamic. another annoying thing they did was to put the masked head with him. it really goes on snake sneaking suit. so you have to buy him to use it. just like the ninjas. and, yay! another m16 only with a silver center.............and 2-two-too-to pairs of glasses!?!?!?!?! why?.

Is anyone thinking about repainting their Rex to accurately correct the color scheme?
