I think I'm with ZombieRepublican and IdeaOfEvil on this; I prefer the old color scheme which was more muted and organic looking, as compared to the shiny and metallic color-way from Rising. Ninjas should not, ever be shiny. It just makes them less inconspicuous :lol.

The shiny paint job doesn't bother - just the bright gold and blue colors. Just give me the pink and gray/blue color and I'd be happy

Big Boss is so stale and boring at this point, I don't give a **** about his back story anymore.

Not really for me as I've never played any of the handheld games like peace walker etc. it's just I'd love to see more solid snake in the collectibles game. Fo sho.

You're not missing anything since they are complete garbage and technically, you can remove them since they don't really effect the series whatsoever.

I disagree, PW was in fact the best PsP game for many, including me, the storyline is not only better than let's say MGS2, it lives up to the rest of the franchise, the sound is exquisite, the soundtrack is great, for PSP the graphics were top notch, the gameplay is engaging and fun as hell, and it does affect the story, how can you say it doesn't?

And not to mention the cut scenes are beautifully drawn by Ashley Wood.

You can take out Peace Walker and it wouldn't disrupt the continuity of the story. It's just a miscellaneous chapter that Kojima had decided to add in somewhere for the sake of milking on the popularity of the franchise. Also, to say that it's better than MGS 2... I really have no words to say about that :rotfl :slap

Yes, PW's story was whatever, but the gameplay and everything else about it like building your army, all the extra missions, etc makes it one of the most fun MGS games I have ever played. I logged over 100 hours from that game. BTW, the Revoltech Snake headscuplt is not bad. I don't see what the problem is. In fact I really like it and think it's a cool anime interpretation of Snake.

Hey guys know lots of Mgs in here need some criticism on something .
I'm having this sculpt done still a wip does it look like Liquid Snake if not what would you change.

:cuckoo:

The same way you can remove MGS4 or MGS3 and the story wouldn't be altered to that point, but the story in MGS PW complements the overall plot, and no, it does explain A LOT of the MGS universe.

Plus, Ground zeroes is taking part AFTER PW using characters of such game and continuing parts of it's plot, to say it wouldn't disrupt the continuity is false.

Yup, are you kidding? Most of MGS2 you play like Raiden and through it's point of view, enough said.

The plot in PW while being just as complicated is more stylised and more compelling.
