I just found it so strange that he was willing to criticize one game (MGS 2), but then defend Peace Walker so adamantly as if someone had punched his baby or something :lol. I mean, the regulars here certainly don't get along all the time on this thread (we're known to argue and talk smack), but rarely have I ever encountered that level of close-mindedness.

As for the Revoltech figure, it's probably the Will Smith ears that throw off the head-sculpt. The hair and eyes look okay - for a stylized anime figure. I won't be getting it though, since I'm only interested in the stuff from Hot Toys and Play Arts :lol.

I didn't mean in which order I'd play them, I meant which are in my opinion, the best from that order. And I can't believe I left out 4! My bad. My personal favourites are in this order:

MGS1
MGS Peace Walker
MGS2
MGS3
MGS4
MGS Portable Ops

I'm surprising you like PW more than 2 or even 3

On another note, I actually like MGS 2 more than MGS 3 now lol. I've just gotten so sick of the Big Boss games.

I said this earlier on in the thread, i too enjoy MGS2 now more than i used to. More than 3

Once i was abit older and replayed 2 through again it made me enjoy it so much more. Probably because i actually understood the story and what was happening haha

I was was relatively young when MGS2 came out so i doubt i really understand the depth

i cant wait to get the revoltech big boss. were lookng at pics of an almost finished product. we gave the boss a buch of crap and when we got in hand pics a lot of people changed their minds. im a figure completist so im getting it at least for that. but i actually like the sculpt. it is a little too raw looking but its okay. i cant wait to see the positions this figure will be able to achieve. all the ball joints havent been hidden you can see at the back of the knee and tops of the shoulders. this should eliminate the limited movement that the paks have. i dont think theres a chance youd get the pak sneaking suit big boss to get that type of in box pose. thats probably the one im going to use on my shelf too.:clap

I loved Peace Walker. I love the story, (I've got a think for Nuclear Deterrence theories.) Perfect closure for Big Boss, unlike Portable Ops. I also love the gameplay, the vehicle/aircraft boss battles... it's got a great element of replayability. I just never got tired of the missions. (I did miss the crawling function though, dunno why they had to remove that.)

One of the best moments of Peace Walker:

^The game did have its cool moments. I especially liked the part when Big Boss radioed in to NORAD and explained how Peace Walker was broadcasting false information to their system. There was a guy there (forgot his name) whose hand Big Boss refused to shake in the President's office in MGS 3. It was touching to see them have a bro moment :lol.

The one thing that I really (REALLY) like about Peace Walker, is my signed copy of Peace Walker. I sold the one below on Ebay, but kept another one that I had signed on the front cover instead. Getting Kojima's signature on anything is such an experience beyond words - I love the guy :love. And I mean that in the straightest way possible.

Man, I think we should plan a forum get-together in NY when the time comes. Kojima always drops by the Big Apple, and I'm fairly certain that he'll be here next year as well for the release of Ground Zeroes. It would be awesome to meet you peeps in person.

im in solidus. i only live in boston. ill take the hike to get mgs swag, meet some freaks, and get a kojima signature. sounds like a trip with no disappointment at all. (unless i dont get a signature from koji pro)

Hahaha you accuse me of closed minded and attitude when most of you already strut these forums with those.

But god forbids someone new comes by and educates you a little about the franchise you love to collect from but know little about, because there's some kind of hierarchy here, what a pretentious little elite, there are some of you that are cool though, but most of you? Spods.

And I loved how WellCQCaboutthat tries the old making homosexual remarks to "almost" insult but "but if you feel insulted then it's up to you casue we're not homophobes", suit yourself kid, cba, that certainly speaks about your own phobias.

Sounds awesome - it'll definitely be a worthwhile trip. June 2014! . The only other two freaks that I've met here were SOLIDSNAKE (aka. knightslade2007) and EvrybodyluvsJosh - haven't seen him on the forum for a while, though.

That's just the problem - you got on your high-horse and tried to "educate" people, who clearly don't need to be lectured on this series. Discussion is fine, but no one appreciates that level of self-righteousness and pomposity that you clearly spouted. We don't even you around here, and yet you decide to just come out of the blue with an antagonistic attitude. I was curious and decided to look through your post history, and you seem to be doing that a lot on other threads as well.

In any case, you're on my ignore list. You can talk to a wall for all I care :wave

This guy's a complete ****** that cries I made a joke is supposed to laugh at himself but he got pissed off instead cry about it you cry baby have a nice day

I like the series in order of their creation minus the PlayStation Portable games that being said starting from best to least liked

100% agree with that order. MGS3 gets way too over hyped over MGS2 when MGS2 overall is more true to the series. MGS3 had to be watered down since people couldn't grasp MGS2's concept. I still love MGS3 dearly and please don't bring gameplay into this, were talking about story.
