I will order some of those Gundam bases tonight probably but the seller is away until the 17th

I've never had any experience with any gundam kits, is it going to be difficult? i know all the bits snap together so i'd imagine it cant be that difficult

nah ryan, they snap together. i didnt order collectors grade and my box came unscathed. yes the box art is awesome!!!!! its metallic, almost looks aluminum. im gonna attempt to build it tomorrow. its my day off! my area got hit with crazy snow, 2 1/2 feet about, there was no delay in my shipping from cali.

It isn't. You can built easy a master in two cosy evenings.

But If you wanna reach the cover built looks you have to cut and rasp the parts and give it a decent paint job, Other wise it looks cheap and awefull.

Do I need to state it as my opinion? It's obviously my opinion, everything that is bounded to taste is an opinion, you can hate on PW as much as you want, I'm ok with it, what it is a false statement and not an opinion is to call every big boss game a side story when it's the predecessor to everything and Solid Snake is not the "main" character of the series, each game has it's own main character between Solid and Big boss, the fact that GZ's and the possible MGS5 have Big Boss as protagonist debates with your idea of Solid Snake being the main character of the franchise.

Look man, why can't you just accept that Solid Snake is the main character. Even if Big Boss is the Main character in MGS5 (and your only speculating at that) it doesn't change the fact that Solid is the main man. Even just on the premise of how many of the actual MG & MGS main titles has been about him. Granted they have given 2 to Big Boss and that's fine, but don't kid yourself into thinking Big Boss is ultimately the main character because he isn't. And i'm sure Kojima would say the same thing. The franchise started off with Solid as the main man

If PW was meant to be anything more than a side story then why did they release it on the psp only at first?

you do care though, or you wouldnt have kept insisting.............btw, theres a difference between a game and the series. solid is the main character of the series. big boss is the reason why snake is the main character and we needed games to tell the story leading to the protagonist (snake). big boss is a filler.

No he only has 2 if you count PW, which i personally don't and i'm quite sure a few others would do the same.

And i'm 100% certain if Kojima really made PW as a main story for MGS, A. He would have released it multi platform. B. He would have called it MGS5

It's annoyed me because you came in here and basically called us uneducated when it's you doesn't really know what you're talking about

Sorry to hear about the dent, man. I think for collectors grade, BBTS places the item in a clear, sealed bag before boxing it for shipment. Of course, whether you receive a package in good condition or not, always depends on how UPS/Fed EX decides to handle it .

Thanks man, hopefully yours will arrive pristine, and it's still in better condition than how most of most of my Hot Toys arrive from SS. I'm really excited about the build and end result!

Yeah, I'm in NYC. The city was spared from the brunt of the storm, but the surrounding areas including Long Island had it bad - really bad. There's like three feet of snow and ice on my college campus (Stony Brook University). Recovery and clean up is very slow and they still decided to hold classes today .

But yeah, Koto REX should be an easy build. It's painting the camo though, that has me the most concerned. I'm gonna order a few bases myself!

Yeah I heard Long Island got pounded. I'm in Philly and all we got was rain thank god.

One reviewer of the Koto REX said he had it together in 3 hours so it shouldn't be too difficult. Gundam Master grades take me 3-4 days but that's because I'm panel lining it with Gundam Markers.

MGS3 showed you the beginning of the legend of Big Boss. Now he's just a watered down Solid Snake at this point and so not interesting anymore. I want to know more about Solid Snake more than anyone else in the series.

ss21, i agree with you on your bb comment. he was fascinating when we didnt really know who he was. snake eater was sick though. i didnt mind seeing his progression into big boss.

That's one of a kind and sculpted and painted by Shinkawa. That was the prototype that had a cannon instead of a railgun
