On another note, I've gotten tired of seeing people refer to ThreeA's REX figure as "Metal Gear Solid" REX, when it's supposed to be Metal Gear REX (without the "Solid"), or just "REX". "Here's my Metal Gear Solid REX", "look at my Metal Gear Solid REX". I've seen a lot more of that on the ThreeA forum than here.. bunch of noobs.

That said, I remember when Metal Gear Solid Old Snake fought the Metal Gear Solid Frog Soldiers on Metal Gear Solid EVA's motorcycle in MGS 4.

Yes. I've removed mine when I had to pack him back up. Follow the instructions in the manual. It requires quite a bit of force.

I just got my Rex today and I was able to remove the railgun without problems as well. Force and jiggling were all that were required.
Super stoked to finally have this bad boy in hand - its a really stellar item. Sadly I broke the ball joint for antenna on the radar dish - but outside of that there are no issues with mine. The paint on this thing is CRAZY.

Contact 3A customer service through email about the broken balljoint for the radome. The same thing happened to me and all I had to do was explain what happened, provide pictures and mail it off to them. Their customer service was top notch.

Well folks, my Rex just dropped in my Pile of Loot from BBTS. $489.00 just like that. The only part about pre-ordering from there is that there is no sort of payment plan. Once your stuff drops then you got to pay outright. Still I'm excited but damn...

That's why I always order from Sideshow. They have a payment plan unlike other places. Great news that you got a REX figure, though! It's sold out everywhere.

Mine will be coming tomorrow morning.

I don't know if I should throw the internets at this statement or pat this poor man on the shoulder and tell him everythings gonna be alright. It is mate. It is.

Fooks me Solidus figure at?

I'm probably overreacting :lol. But, it is strange when people keep referring to REX as "Metal Gear Solid REX". That's not the name of the robot. As an example, that'll be equivalent to me calling Catwoman, "The Dark Knight Rises Catwoman" every time, instead of just Catwoman.

I did unfortunately when TNT showed it a few weeks ago :(. I still want those few hours of my life back...

Anyways, where the hell is my REX?!! Still early in the day, but UPS is later than usual :gah:

Ahhhhhhhh Solidus it will be a grand day to be sure.
Just don't think too much about it and enjoy it for the greatest toy ever made that it is!

This figure is fantastic and I'm pretty satisfied with the over-all build quality. I think ThreeA was a bit too liberal on the weathering in some areas, though. The back pack has large amount of brown (on my figure at least) compared to the front. Not a big deal though, all things considered.
