I know it's small, but that Revoltech Raiden at BBTS looks nice. Very poseable.
Is there a significance to the watermelon?

The watermelon was a tech demo used to represent how dynamic the cutting mechanics are way back in 2009. The game then went into development hell until Platinum Games took over and re-made the game from scratch. The watermelon is still in the game, as an in-joke to and probably to remind the fans the 4 years it took for the game to come out.

You don't play games, Barry? Metal Gear Rising is great for a non-MG fan. It's loud, dumb and exciting and quickly became some of my favorite games ever made.

Only on occasion.
I have an XBOX 360. But i only ever buy Halo games or SW games.
I've never really branched out into anything else. Not for any particular reason. I just never seem to have time. I only turn my xbox on about three times a year, and generally play each Halo game till completion, then switch off again, lol.

That ht boss for $60 is ending in just over 7 hours. Someone should snipe it.

BTW Barry, the revo raiden is awesome. I have the black one and it can do any pose you want. The pak one is pretty flexible but this one blows it away in articulation.

I bet it is.
if only it were 1/6, it would be perfect.

I was tempted to bid on that boss.
But the shipping and import charges seem steep.
I'd normally buy this kind of thing and ship it to a friend of mine and he'd forward it marked with a low value.
But I have likely left it too late for that kind of thing.
It'll be a bargain for someone. Although most buyers can't wait to snipe and bid very early. Those fools.

I might snipe it....but I'll need to find Big Boss honestly or she'll feel lonely. Someone help?

I might snipe it....

If someone else is bidding, i'll not bother. I'll leave you to it!
I added magnets onto the legs of my custom figure at work today so her SMG can attach to her thigh without too much fuss. I am going to do the same with a pistol on her right thigh at some point.

Actually Bar I changed my mind, mostly since the more I look at The Boss the more she turns me off :lol also cause I may have another Hot Toys to buy this month and I've bought quite a bit already

You got the blue highlight pretty close to the rest of the body scheme.

It's technically a bit of a cheat.
I got a Tamiya Weathering master set, the one with the "burnt blue/Burnt Orange" colours, and relined ALL the blue panels with the weathering colour, including the cheb armour. As they all have the same weathering colour, they all look the same.
I might have struggled otherwise, lol.

I might have bitten on it, but TOYHQ here in the UK listed the Star Spangled Man Cap for 1/2 the normal retail price just over an hour ago...
I have never wanted it till tonight.
So i hit the *Add To Cart* on that instead.

No such thing as a cheat, as long as it gets the job done :lecture

Thanks.
I have a few of those weathering kits lying around, and it seemed the perfect thing.

I was using Tamiya sand paper to rub off the cut nubs on my Gundam kits, they're really good at making them melt away without ruining the plastic finish.
