Ehhh not quite. I've seen enough people who've been dying to have a GI JOE-sized Snake or just a small-ish Snake for years now. So I guess even with the size complaints here, I'd say there's a legitimate market for it...

And exactly what forum was this? :lol. The people on SSF have wanted 1/6 MGS figures for the longest time. Also, I used to frequent the Playstation Underground up until a few years ago, and fans there were pretty excited about the scale of the PAK figures, as well as the price (when they were still cheap).

I've collected MGS figures for years, frequented the net for years - and maybe there are people who can appreciate this scale. But I've never seen a large group of MGS fans clamoring, "Omgz... give us the smallest possible MGS figures, Kojima-san, with an expensive price to boot!!" :cuckoo: At least, not to the extent that you're describing.

That catch-phrase reminds me of the ad for Godzilla 1998 :yuck

Woah relax. Take note of what I said. You're making it sound as if I'm somehow saying that people were asking for a figure exactly like this Revolmini in terms of style, size, price and how "Kojima-san" is justified in making this when that literally wasn't the case.

I recognize this is a 1/6 forum so obviously there's more desire for bigger figures. I thought the mention of "GI JOE" gave it away and yeah you'd be surprised, I've seen a number of folks clamor for MGS figures of such size. Mind you, I tend to jump around multiple scales (3 3/4, 6-8 inch, whatever scale PAK wants itself to be and here being mainly 1/6) so I've been exposed to various communities (including some customizing ones). As an aside, I will say the varying perception towards figures of other scales can be quite amusing. In this case I'm just saying that yes, surprising as it may seem, I have seen some people actually wish for small MGS figures and that's literally all I'm saying, no more no less ("large group" is stretching it, more like scattered little corners in various communities some not even readily MGS-oriented).

Don't know what you mean by "extent" though, not once did I indicate in my post that there's huge demand for such MGS figures in such a small size. If you look back at my comment, a lot of it was more of "um not exactly" where I literally just said "there's a legitimate market for it" i.e. the market for such small figures does exist to some extent contrary to what some might believe here. Perhaps "dying" was a bit too hyperbolic, so that may have twisted your view regarding my comment, and if so then I apologize for that. So really there's no need to blow my comment out of proportion there.

I forgot about how most MGS collectors have been crying out for a 3 inch articulated Solid Snake Figure :lol :lol :lol ....

Yes Plissken, long post indeed. Take care not to lose your mind when too many words start to pile up right in front of you. :lecture

We've tried to give you friendly advice in the past, but many members here have commented that your posts are always a chore to read. Bringing up attention span is just an ignorant response when the real reason is people can't be bothered to your anything you post.

It's also hard to believe you could contain yourself to limiting that to one sentence.

Except I really don't care especially if the person getting bothered by it is not the one I'm addressing in the first place. Likewise, nor should you. I've never had a problem in other sections of SSF discussing in length and not once has anyone ever complained about it except in the MGS threads (a bit ironic for a series that's known for lengthy expositions/cutscenes).
