Have no idea where this should be posted in, so here it is in this thread

I KNEW IT! There's always "donations" involved with all these fan projects. Just like Youtubers these days who start innocently enough until they get famous and start asking subscribers for money. Don't these people have jobs?

Anyway Bangkok, here's the thread for any MGS related discussions buddy!:

The 2nd from the right figure has the all too common messed up rubber strap that are on all the figures that have belts. This head sculpt is undoubtedly the ugliest they've done thus far for MGS.
this honestly proves that our observations of 'quantity over quality' are true. How do they not see this? Or better yet, how do they let this slide?

Sigh.

Just saying man! They seem to be cracking down

Part of my job involves importing goods, I know the extended shafting arm of the law

Dude thanks for that info! I've been importing for years and never got any hits till a year ago. Since then it's been every figure. I was worried my address was listed or something.
What you said would explain why my 3A stuff doesn't get hit ever. Would totally rep ya if I could. :)

No problem man, they just usually wise up if a lot are coming through. Plus companies have to by law supply the documents, otherwise it would never leave customs to get to yourself and if they lied they could incur charges, something which sellers can avoid that bigger companies can't afford to

I think they can potentially list a house if receives a lot of high value goods too, but I'm not sure if they bother unless it's a lot

I honestly don't think they have anyone to inspect the QC. Their customer service is pretty much nonexistent. I suppose they think they're above QC checking or hope the fans just stay quiet about it.

Tying desperately to work out ideas to mod the Yamato vest, in case I can't afford the upcoming Sean Dabbs custom. Looks like I finally came up with something that just might work.. I hope! :lol

That's pretty good :)

I haven't drawn anything in well over six months. In my free time at home I'm either working out, reading or playing games.

Although I have been getting the itch to start sketching again.

You think so? Thanks! I seriously haven't sketched anything in years. Gonna get back to it once I'm done with these silly customs. :lol

You kinda just stopped with your artwork the other day, just when it was gettin' better. :lol Love to see what you'll come up with when you get back in the game. :rock

Aye, tis a fine sketch!

Thanks Jedi! The emotions going trough me was: "Arghh how do I make this damn vest work?! Think!!" Hope to try something else when I'm not under pressure. :lol

Nice work, Ryan! :rock A sulpted belt strap sounds good. I'm guessing a buckle goes in the middle?

Good eye! Yeah, belt buckle should go in the middle. If all goes well I should come up with a prototype within a month or two, definitely need to get the whole damn thing done before the head is complete.

You'll notice that the Yamato vest only goes down as far as his waist, while in TTS it's a few inches lower, hosting the belt and pouches and looks like a waist guard of sorts.

Just noticed that one of the covers to the cooling fins was neglected to be included when 3A sent REX back to me. They'll probably accuse me of lying once again. If you're going to do a service for that for customers, have the decency to be thorough with making sure everything is with it.

That sucks. I would have stripped it and sent the main figure to them. Theres way too many extra parts to account for. Id be paranoid something will be lost.

C'mon! What the hell man? :slap

I'd probably write a hand written formal letter to them, Pliss. It shows that you're serious.

Hey! Where you've been Jason?
