I think it's another case of giraffe syndrome.

Can't really make out what are the accessories there, but it'll definitely be over $100. I also like the design, but might pass on this (regular ver.) with the neck length hidden under the shemagh. Just seems odd to me . For the variant.... I've never cared for any anyway. But yeah, what a waste.

Y'know what, I just don't care anymore. The sausage fest of Big Boss figures is embarrassing!

Not looking forward to the wallet rape I'm going to experience trying to get this from ebay. Last year I was able to get someone to pick me up the SDCC raiden, but I'm not sure that will happen this year.

Thats a horrible idea. Making a new sculpt just for SDCC, wouldnt make sense for all the effort. Not to mension most people couldnt get it withou paying $200.

Seeing that the PhantomPain BigBoss is releasing soon gives me hope for another Solid Snake tease far before the end of the year

Well i dont imagine TTP releasinh anytime before Spring 2015. So theres a huge gap between then and now. PlayArts have been pumping out at least 4 MGS PlayArts a year

Well they got Skull Face coming out too, they could easily do Ocelot and Kaz as well. I think we will still be stuck in this perpetual Big Boss slump of figures.

No kidding. Besides being a Big Boss figure (yet again ), I just find the entire TPP design too generic for my linking. And I bet this will cost over $100.

I at least wish if PAK continued their MGS 2 line.

Yeah. MGS 2 Snake might be overpriced but it'd be a nice change of pace. So many bawsues....

Also why are we getting a variant of something not even painted?

Obviously missing a knife. Will there be a sculpted tail to go along with the figure ?

Looks good so far (well as good as an average MGS PAK can get anyway). Glad we're getting an alt. head at least. I would hope that with all the hype surrounding MGSV recently that we'll finally get an Ocelot. Would have preferred either Major Ocelot or Liquid Ocelot (since I felt those were his highlights as a character), but considering how he seems to have a pretty substantial role in MGSV, I wouldn't mind the new version either.
