Look what I came across on twitter....Yoji Shinkawa doing a tribute to AKIRA!! Published in 2005. It's his take on Kaneda, Kei, and Tetsuo. Isn't that sick?? These are the best pics I could find....

It’s actually embarrassing at this point, that we haven’t had a modern 1/6 Solid Snake!

I’ve always seen this art. I had no idea it was his version of Akira characters! Would love to have seen these in more detail.

Looks good, but I am tired of BB and his doppelganger. I want a good Solid Snake. That's the only thing that I miss from my collection.

Me neither. I just don't care. It's the worst in the canon franchise in my opinion.

Gray Fox was done by Mamegyorai and PAK and GECCO(the best Gray Fox as of yet), Venom Snake in Sneaking suit was also done by PAK. Solid Snake was done by Mamegyorai, PAK (Hideous!), F4F and Yamato and some Mcfarlane toys and a couple of others. To be honest the only one who was really able to capture Shinkawa's essence is GECCO. Their Gray Fox is 100%. I hope they'll make a Solid Snake. The battle wounded Gray Fox was sold out in a week in pre-order.

Oh, I used to have most of those haha I meant as a 1/6 figure collectable official, or unofficial. LIM teased a Venom Snake Sneaking Suit as well as Solid Snake. So maybe one day.

After watching Konami's video METAL GEAR SOLID Legacy Series Part 2 | ft. David Hayter, this gives me hope that we'll eventually see a MGS1 & 2 Remake.
I recently started playing MGS1 on GOG for the first time, and even with it's OG graphics and controls, you can just feel it's a special kind of game.
I'm not really sure how they would pull off Sons of Liberty though, as it always seemed to be a more fixed camera style of game. But I'd definitely like to see what they could come up with. I spent a lot of time on that oil rig, only finished the original MGS2 around 20-some times. lol
Not sure how I'd feel about seeing a 4K, ray traced version of Raiden doing those cartwheels though...

Pretty sure Delta is being done internally by Konami but all the silent hill games have been sent out to external developers
