I'm sorry, were you the one who spent decades playing the games and thousands of dollars on worshiping the series again, lady?
 
She has a cuteness about her, but she's not this *** material she's made out to be at all. If she wasn't a femme fatale in MGS, no one would care about her.
 
On Raiden, I think no other character in the series had such a dividing entry. I'm gonna go on a whim and say, given that people still hate Raiden despite his arc, that's why people prefer Venom. It's a Snake clone, but it's still Snake and people have that bias. I completely and totally disagree with that though, because that was the point of Raiden and Venom almost seems like an after thought, like it was shoe horned in. Not to mention as Jameson pointed out....it creates a lot of plot holes.

And I agree with Frank on how we never got another Solid Snake game, at least a 3D one. That is such a shame, it's tragic. We have 2.25 games with Snake, counting the beginning of MGs2 and maybe Snake Tales...Big Boss has almost 4, if we count MGS V.

On Quiet, the 3D model is a very clearly exaggerated model of Stefanie. Stefanie's got a cute, petite structure, Quiet's face looks like it's trying to be more tough and her body more appealing with bigger boobs, ass and I think hips/curves. also keep in mind Stefanie was horrified to see what Quiet went through and I think what the character was like :lol and Pliss is right, I think MGS V is why she has so many fans. She's a fine person though from what I've seen, so I have no issues.
 
Skelly? Really Gaspar? :lol I have no problem with Stefanie either, but I also forgot to mention I think it's true that due to her cute appearance that's why she's popular in Japan. They love their cute things. But I do prefer my 2D waifus over my 3D waifus :lecture

Also on thicc...can be 'subjective' due to...people out there to say the least :lol

Nah, thicc is not subjective, it's a little chubby with a nice figure, nice breeding hips but without being a blob of fat, just enough to hold on to.

I don't wanna do this, I really don't but here's my decades long experience of being a MGS fan comes to play- I remember over 10 years back when Kojima was guest writing articles for UK magazines, and I happened to have bought anything that features Kojima or MGS. I remember Kojima saying that MGS is basically a zombie game, inspired by Dawn of the Dead. Don't believe me? I found a link where someone was kind enough to scan the article.

"The big question now is: 'How has DOTD affected MGS?' The answer is the maximum three-dimensional use of a closed area like a shopping mall with elevators, air ducts, and escalators. The gameplay in MGS involving air ducts and elevators is straight out of DOTD. Some people think it's based on Die Hard, but that is not true. The original Metal Gear for MSX was released in 1987 - before Die Hard. The concept of a 3D maze composed of elevators and ducts is from DOTD. While escaping came from The Great Escape, infiltrating came from The Guns of Navarone, "dealing with the enemies in a closed building" comes from DOTD. Fighting enemies scattered in a closed area while making maximum use of the structure of the building - MGS is DOTD if you replace soldiers with zombies."

Again, I don't wanna come off as defending this stupid Metal Gear Survive but FFS Kojima HIMSELF said that MGS and zombies have more in common than you'd think. You know what MGS shouldn't have had? Parasite soldiers pulling weapons out of thin air, magic parasites, teleporting half naked snipers.

But it just goes to show that no matter what's in MG:S, it's really no more nonsensical than what's been going in the series the last ten years. The Boss AI is the biggest piece of fan fiction he's even done. The B&B unit was just hentai level nonsense... and they turn to ash when defeated? Why? And let's not get started on the rock monsters and vocal cord parasites. That's real MGS!

I really hope Survive is good, since maybe it would sway fans to see that the series is fine without Brojima.

I'm also pleasantly surprised it's almost 50/50 with fans now that like what they've seen in Survive.
