Man, Kojima is so busy that he couldn't acknowledge John Cygan's passing. He did however, retweeted stuff by Gal Gadot. Don't judge the Lord!

Well now I know who YongYea is... I don't like him or his Kojima cuck personality.

I still can't believe this **** Konami thing... is still a thing. Oh MGS isn't about zombies? You had zombies in the last two games, big nose.

He's one of the reasons I fell out of love of MGS because kids like him are nuts. He's lucky enough to score Skype interviews with most of the MGS cast, but he hogs most of the interviews to talk about his greatness and harasses the actors with questions and speculations they have no clue about.

In a sad way, he reminds me of myself 10-15 years back where I thought Kojima could do no wrong, and was obsessed over every little speculation and trivialities to the point of being obsessively unhealthy.Thankfully, I woke up and realized that MGS1 and 2 are the only entries in the series worth a damn.

Yeah I hear ya. In the MGS2 days I thought the guy could do no wrong with crafting such a experience filled game. And then I took a MGS4 to the knee, and then a MGSV to the balls.

I really don't know why these neckbeards feel like they're needed by Konami. I'm not apologizing for them for being a bunch of **** head bankers, but they've really shown they don't need their game dev department considering they flushed all their big brands.

Boycott Konami... how exactly? The only thing I know they're putting out is Survive, and all the gaming sites will give it a 1/5 without even playing it. But you know what? It will still make more than what it took to develop it :lol

I just noticed that Yong- self appointed MGS scholar, requires a $2000 monthly donation from fans trough Patreon. :lol

Ryan brought up a good point the other day, about how the MGS fan base (or rather, Kojima's fan base) is getting younger and younger :lol. It seems like only adolescents are commenting on Yong's YouTube vids.

:lol

That's an excellent point. And you know what? I think Metal Gear Survive is probably a consequence of the 80 million dollars that Kojima spent (or wasted?) in developing MGS V in such an unfinished state. They're a heartless megacorp that need to make profit, they don't owe anyone anything.

The series is 30 years old in a few weeks, and we've all been fans for what, at least 19 years? It was Peace Walker that brought a new generation of young fans, for better or worse.

BUT ZAMBEZ ARUNT MGSESSS!!

No, they've been around since Peace Walker. Survive is a zombie game, so it certainly fits the bill to be MGS :lol

Survive is just left over ideas Kojima has for MGSV, so I don't get the outrage for it.

Konami got tired of him wasting budgets (or going over them) his ridiculious dev times that only amount to only good profits, but not the profits of other IP's out there that probably have half the dev time. MGS isn't a hot commodity anymore and has deteriorated for well over 10 years now.

Again, I'm of the mindset of F ukishima (dumb filter) being the true key to the series. I hate that I never really knew who he was until Ryan brought him up. But, that again shows the narcissism of Kojima, that you only know HIS name inside of Koji Pro.

Shinkawa is just the designer, he only does what he's told. Plus, he's a magnificent artist so there's that.

I am kinda looking forward to survive now. Im passed the initial WTF is this phase. And now im thinking, i keep forgetting the game is coming out, i have 0 expectations.Whats to lose? Its not something we requested, but what we did request we didnt get. It might surprise us. Or atleast be fun.

You can Google Tomokazu F ukushima (seriously, language filter?!) and see discussions about how MGS became a completely different series after he left. It's probably safe to say the series died along with him, since there was no one to keep our dear and fluffy Lord in check. Compare the writing of MGS1 with MGS4, or MGS2 with MGSV and you could swore it's not written by the same guy.

It's pure speculation, but maybe Kojima fired him because Kojima can do no wrong- just like how Jeremy Blaustein was fired for tweaking the script of MGS1, which he said pissed off Kojima big time for interfering with his "vision".

Kojima can create good ideas (which he "borrows") and outline a game. But when it comes to the meat of the game, he can't do anything right. MGS4 is a disjointed mess that tries to do too much at once, not to mention sodomizes you for hours with endless cutscenes.

Peace Walker was perfectly executed for the console it was on. Great gameplay, linear, but immersive. Story? Bah. It's crap, and unnecessary.

V had good ideas for gameplay, but bit more off than it could chew and lost the soul of the older game's play styles. Again, the story... WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm not doubting Konami are pricks about things since it's run by bankers, but I just don't know how you can only look at it from Kojima's angle. You need to step back away from what went on the last two years and view it from a wide angle to come to a reasonably conclusion.

This is why I don't understand why people hate corporations and greed MANNNNNN!!! Capitalism is all about the bottom line, and Kojima was too much trouble for what he's worth. He was given his own studio and full reign to do whatever he wanted since 1999 since MGS2 starting getting developed. But, **** Konami? The Konami that bowed down to fans and forced him to direct MGS4? **** off.

You can boycott Konami all you want, they're not even asking for your money. It's like you spouse asking for a divorce and you yell "Don't expect us to sleep on the same bed again!" "Yeah no ****, dumbass!"
