Oh wow, someone managed to rip a ton of unused CODEC calls from MGS2, albeit some of them are actually were in the final game. I think I remember the seagull-repelling cardboard box in the original game plan documents.

I don't recall any bugs in any of the series, ever.

Not a bug, but I HATED the mechanic of not being able to climb over a 2 inch elevated section on a cliff side or whatever in V... you gotta bypass it instead.

There were some in MGS4 that I recall. If you pressed against a wall with the solar gun and pressed reload it would automatically refill it's solar power without the animation regardless of the setting. But that came in handy.

On the note of what Ryan just said, you know what sucks? MGS1 isn't playable on the Vita :cuckoo: sucks, especially since a lot of PS1 games don't have compatibility...but you know what does? Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Wait, it's playable! You'll need to download it via PS3 and connect the USB cable to the Vita to transfer the game. Works for me with no problems at all.

Now I wish they would port over MGA and MGA2 as well. MGA2 was just fantastic.

Here's a long video that documents the technical achievements MGS2 and the making of the game. Good stuff if you wanna know how the game was made:

Are...you sure? I've tried this, didn't work. Didn't work for other PS1 games too. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Everything I know is a lie.

Nostalgia ruined :lecture
