A well-optimized PC game has the same draw-distance as a console game with inferior hardware? Is that what you're saying, even DESPITE comparison pictures, and first hand accounts that prove contrary? Got it. I'm out.

Gaspar, Solidus knows a LOT about PCs, not just gaming wise, but he has a good grasp of technology, since it was covered in his college classes. He helped me with my system, and I've talked with him a few times (IIRC) about the general technology. Even then, he still knows about the consoles.

He's still a #PCMasterrace slave though :lol but honestly Gaspar, you are fighting a real losing battle.
 
The console versions have horrible draw distance, and the fog-like effects that draws up when traversing is akin to what is used in Silent Hill, to mask the limited draw distance.

Draw distances in this are a joke. It's just pixely textureless panels with anything a half mile away.
