The Limited Edition is exclusive to Gamestop and is priced at $85. I don't think the price on it will drop for a while, or maybe not at all depending on the demand for these.

The price is pretty steep, and at first I didn't think the extras were worth $85, but I think it's a decent deal.
IMO the metal case, soundtrack, art book, and MGS Saga Volume 2 dvd + beta key is worth the extra cash.

Yeah, I don't see the price dropping at all. Maybe after it comes out, like now you can get the Halo 3 Legendary pack for under $100 someplaces. But I doubt even then, cause most will be sold out.
And I think the MGO beta is worth at least $40 of my dollarz!

Thought you guys might enjoy this. MGS4 promo in front of a big electronics and game store in Osaka. They used this with the release of MGS3-Snake Eater last time, but guess they had him stashed away somewhere... now that's what I call a standee.
A Gaming store near me here has the MGS2 lifesize statue,but the same head as the MGS3 statue there,its real nice in person.They have it along with Superman Returns,Spiderman,Jin Kazama(Tekken),really cool ones.

yep...mgs4 will have about 4-5 multiplayer maps & customisable weapons but MGO will kinda be an expansion pack but with loads of maps & weapons etc

Well, now we know we gotta sign up at the Konami site for all the new ID's and stuff. It would seem as if the Game ID you choose at the site will be the name people see online, and not your PSN Name. Looks like we need a new thread or something for the new Konami names. Should we make a new thread, or put them all in here?

I e-mailed Gamestop and they said for those who preordered online they will be sending the beta disc out early.
