Yeah, I noticed Elegia playing in one of the episodes. Aside from that, I can't think of any other similarities to MGS V...

Unless you've noticed any that you'd like to share.

Well I said Kojima references. That's the only one tied to MGS I saw but there were other stuff that reminded me of Death Stranding like the plot as I mentioned earlier and Mads compass going crazy just like the kids compasses when they were trying to find the door to the other Dimension. Not trying to start some conspiracy ******** like every other time just thought it was interesting when I watched it.

For those of you lucky/smart enough to haven't yet purchased MGSV, the game is free for PS+ users next month.

Ew. :lol

I completely forgot that I could remote play my PS4 to PC until literally this morning... but I don't think that will be one that I'll do.

That's awesome news, PS+ has been on fire recently, Infamous and now this. Hopefully they continue to put out AAA titles on the service. I just beat MGS4 last month for the firs time and haven't picked up 5 yet so this is perfect.

...retconned Metal Gear for no reason at all.

I thought they did it because over the course of Metal Gear 1 and 2, didn't Solid Snake...

...kill Big Boss twice? If they had maintained that there was only one Big Boss, then that would mean the dude survived two assassinations before ultimately passing away in MGS4. Perhaps that was a little too much, so they had MGSV affirm that the Big Boss that Solid Snake defeated in Metal Gear 1 was someone else entirely: Venom Snake.
