I'll just sit it out hoping Nintendo ports all of the old VB games to the 3DS. I don't own any VB stuff, and I want to keep it that way. It's a slippery slope. I don't want to end up with a pile of impulsively-purchased Virtual Boy crap in my house. Granted, there are some good games on it, but I really don't need to spend money so frivolously, what with so many games coming out this fall...Like Metroid Other M!

Reviews thus far across the board seem generally positive. Citing the controls as the only glaring flaw.

It makes no sense why not to implement the nunchuck, it makes games easier imho.

They were worried about alienating some gamers with the nunchuck? There's no control scheme that can be more simple.

Why taylor the controls for a wider casual audience. Yet beef up the story that only a hardcore metroid fan would be interested in. Sounds like an identity crisis to me.

I'm going to withhold major judgements until I play the game, but I really have to say that I hate that 'thumbs down' gesture that Samus makes.

I'm still waiting for an original static pose from F4F after like 3 or 4 repaints. I sent them an inquiry about a year or two ago asking if they had any original pose planned or if they were all repaints. They said yes, but thus far all we have is like those repaints and then zero suit samus.

They gave us the Varia, Gravity, and Phazon suit all in the same damn pose.

I'm still waiting on a Dark, Light, PED, and the suit from Other M. *With original poses*

But goddamn. Why would Samus break down in front of Ridley, who she has faced what, four times at this point? And really, Samus, who's one of the most badass female characters in gaming, suffering a panic attack and apparently forgetting how to even fire her trademark weapon? Oh, and sure, let her morph out of her suit for no goddamn reason as well, ontop of her being needed to be ____ing rescued by someone else.

I am all for character development, but this? This is a fine display of piss poor writing.
