Mezco can still reveal more stuff tomorrow and the day after right?

If I remember correctly, they said they had 8 figures in development, well, there's Dredd which I'm unsure it's still in development, those 3, that makes 4.

So we still have 4 or 5 possible figures they could release? From those they said one of them is Keaton Batman and there was another TDKR figure too, which I'm still hoping is another Superman since that one above won't do.

This was only about TDKR for me and I never had interest in the One:12 format for any of the other licences they hold, and seeing these pics haven't swayed that a bit.

To me the TDKR line works so well for what Mezco is trying to do with this. I think all Bats and the Mutant Leader look much better than anything else shown so far, including Dredd IMO.

i can't see myself parting with $65-$70 for flash or superman. Flash has never struck me the type to wear a knitted suit, so I'm not sure the tailoring works for him. Superman is ok but I'm looking for better than ok. i really wish they had stuck with the DKR figures for another wave. These look generic and just not that appealing? I am not sure i want to build a DC universe with this aesthetic.

I'm not seeing much of a drop in quality from Batman. Outfits, sculpts, etc. seem about on par. But then, I never though of Batman as "high end." They're more like glorified mass market toys IMO.

Agreed.

I think the reason the Miller figures look so good is because the design is very cartoonish, so it just lends itself perfectly for this type of simple nylon tights wearing figures.
At any rate, I really like the Space Ghost figure! I might just have to get that...

Space Ghost's head is too big for his body--his upper body needs more bulk, or a smaller head--the shape of his head is off as well. Superman is too bulky-- he needs more of a V-shape. I think the flash looks good. All of my opinion of course.

Good lord, I'm disappointed. Batman was hands down the figure of the year and I'll be blunt....these look like crap.

Oh well...money saved.

As for Keaton Batman, I wouldn't count on seeing it soon (or ever) cause last we heard they were having a hard time working out the details and unlike the comic book stuff, a fabric costume doesn't suit it well. I had reallllly high hopes for that figure and ALL the figures, but man, this hit with a resounding THUD.

Thanks for the link.

I'm warming up to Space Ghost the more pics I see. Especially since they have nearly a year (according to the placard) to smooth it out. I think the head could be tweaked and the stitching especially in the foot area can be tightened up. I don't think I like the built in wired cape with the seemingly built in 'waves' on the cape. I'd honestly just take a yellow version of the Batman cape. That cape is a thing of beauty.

I hope they explain all the different Dredd figures on display. The vibrant blue one with the yellow knee pads is the one I want. Not sure if the is the PX poncho version with the poncho off, or what.

I think they all look pretty darned good. This is a very intriguing line of figures to me. Very diverse subject matter with 2000 AD, DC Universe and now Universal Monsters. I know these are prototypes, but I think they hold their own with most of the similar 1/6th subjects that have been offered. I like the Superman and Flash better than anything else I've seen. The Miller Batman is very good and these seem right in line. Good stuff.

There was a user at the Fwoosh, Joseph Joe Kerr, said that the Mezco guys at Puerto Rico told him they're making BvS Batman and Superman. Here's his quote (It was in a response to these SDCC reveals):

Yeah all of those figures look horrible. They just don't seem to look as good as dredd and dkr.

When the guys at mezco came to pr they told me about a couple of figures that are not on display at sdcc

BvS batman and Superman
Catwoman from Batman Returns
Said they had keaton Batman and Beetlejuice that were still pending cause they can't get a hold of keaton to approve.

But looking at the new ones I'm worried for the rest of the line

Also, the Mezco representatives made it pretty clear that these are just early prototypes:

Nice info :duff

They said they were going to make those figs ages ago, but ever since they've been evading questions about it, it's understandable, maybe we'll see them at NYCC.

Yeah they were very emphatic these were protos, so I'm gonna be patient, I hope all the criticism is reaching them, it's not too late.

Glad to see that video. That puts my mind at ease quite a bit that they know they aren't perfect 'yet'. I really want this line to stay up to the level of their Batman release for a good long while.

Wait, Affleck Batman, Keaton Batman, Cavill Superman, Pfeiffer Catwoman and Beetlejuice?

Hmm, and I thought they were blowing smoke about their other lines after their Flash and Superman turnout. I'll have to see them to believe it. Not sure I can see them nailing real human likenesses. I expect the Affleck Batman to look cartoony and the Keaton Batman to look as big and ripped as that Superman for some reason. :lol

Before these 3 ugly releases, I expected Keaton Batman to have a sculpt at least better than Neca's and with better paint, but now I don't know what to expect.

And it sounds like they can't find Keaton to approve it anyway or something! :lol

After Sideshow Beetlejuice (which I think looks like him, albeit an awful expression) and Hot Toys Bruce Wayne, I don't have much faith in Mezco's Keaton Batman likeness. Then again, it's just a mouth and sculpted cowl, so maybe they'll pull it off. I know Affleck and Cavill are big guys in their suits, so Mezco's bodies might do them justice, but I just can't picture Mezco doing a Keaton Batman and capturing that lean, thin look he had. Especially if they strive for the segmented armor they were talking about. In my mind, I'm just thinking of this on a bigger buck,

We'll see though. Those Star Trek figures will demonstrate how well try can achieve actor likenesses in the one:12 line. And I must say, I'm intrigued with the Returns Catwoman. Not only is it a female character, that's also a pretty complex suit. That seems like a massive undertaking to me. Pretty ambitious, but I can't see something that thin with 1:12 clothes working. We'll see.

Of the three shown, Space Ghost was the best. Other than a rough looking head, that looks like it has potential to be a great figure. Wonder what they could do with a Batman Animated series line.
