At least it has a stand, since they don't give them to anything else as far as I know.

It could have been totally averted if they just did MGS 2 RAY with detachable parts, and find some way to have the tail double as a stand.

But, oh well, it's not the end of the world. I'm sure we'll find more pressing problems to discuss, when we hear more details of the design. I hope that it won't have as many problems as REX.

I think the only problem I can tell from RAY itself is the LED in the eye. It has pupil like LED. It should encompass the entire section under the plastic.

And by the way, kudos to Dave for making this thread :duff. Since the ThreeA forum is gone, we now have a place to discuss this figure.

What is the point then? I thought forums existed so a discussion could be conducted and the main topic should always be how to make something better.

Constructive criticism is considered trolling there. Well, we should get back on topic since I didn't want to turn this into a 3A hate thread.

I'll order RAY from SSC my next pay check probably.

I am excited for it. I dont have anything that large in my collection and Rays design is my favorite but I do wish it was the Marines version but I will take what I can get.

As much as REX was riddled with design issues, it's still a good figure. I don't regret getting it. I'm sure it'll be the same with RAY. But, hopefully, ThreeA has managed to create a better quality RAY figure, from what they learned while designing REX.
