According to Billboard, deceased singer Michael Jackson is continuing to dominate the Billboard charts with his impressive number of albums sold. This past week, Billboard reports that Michael Jackson sold over 800,000 copies.

The numbers, which have been provided by Nielsen SoundScan, are the preliminary numbers for the tracking week ending Sunday, July 5.

Jackson’s album sales have nearly doubled compared to the previous tracking week when only 422,000 albums were sold.

Another change in Jackson’s album sales is in regards to physical versus digital albums. The week of Jackson’s death 43 percent of albums sold were physical as opposed to this past week when 83 percent of albums sold were physical copies.

Nielsen SoundScan also reports that Jackson’s Number Ones will be the top selling album in the United States while Thriller will be the second top selling album.

On top of selling close to a million albums Jackson has completely dominated the Top Pop Catalog Albums chart. Albums by Jackson fill up the top ten positions on the chart.
 
Nothing was proven about Michael. nobody knew him. How small minded and judgemental of all of you to judge him based on what you've seen on tv. In who's best interest would it be for him to be a child molester? the news channels right? that controversy surely would sell better than the reverse. The fact of the matter is he was weird in the sense he was outside the norm but we all knew that already didn't we?

If you listen to his songs he's the only one with a message worth listening to. compare the lyrics, "heal the world" with "all the boys and all the girls are begging to ^^^^ me"?

At least he gave a crap. it's easy to point a finger. isn't that what we all did to jesus? He was vilified in his day too.

I'm not saying he didn't do those things. I'm saying I don't know and I refuse to judge based on heresay. But it does seem unlikely given his humanitarian nature.

I mean, here's a guy who, in my eyes, appears genuinely good. The world needs more people like that. They need to be helped and encouraged not shot down and ridiculed.

I for one am deeply saddened that he's gone. It breaks my heart. If I saw proof that he did those things they say I'd be right there with you all against him but the fact is there's none and I won't judge him guilty cuz I just don't ^^^^ing know! Who am I to say? Who are you?

This thread is indeed disgusting,not only is our childhood hero gone,which is sad as it is allready,but i feel so sorry for his 3 Children that just lost their father,imagine the rough time they are going through right now.

SOME Members here have posted some REALLY disgusting comments,some people i found kinda cool earlier.
