An amazing line-up for 2012
Doc Holiday
Pee Wee
Plainview
Anton

Here's my prediction for 2013

Mad Max
"Jesus" Big Lebowski
Jack Torrance
Travis Bickle

*echo*
Travis Bickle,Travis Bickle,Travis Bickle,Travis Bickle

Here are my predictions for 2013

Another Western Figure :lecture
Another Daniel Day Lewis Character :slap
Another Brad Pitt Character :gah:
Jack Torrance :monkey1

Travis Bickle ...ickle...ickle...ickle...ickle :panic:

for 2013 i hope he does:

Bickle
johnny Depp as William Blake from 'Dead Man'
mark wahlberg as Dirk Diggler or John C Reilly from 'Boogie Nights'
Joaquin Phoenix from 'the Master'

AND V2 BILL THE BUTCHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing how it sounds like Rainman needs more time to complete each offering, I rather he leave Torrance to Beto so that frees up a slot. It looks like he could only tackle 4 figs in a year.I'd love to see Bickle & Mickey make the cut. If there's another western in the mix, I'd hope for Young Guns Billy The Kid.

Definitely need a Dirk Diggler too

There are some factors that possibly may make a V2 devalue the V1 a bit. But it would be a completely different piece so it may not effect the V1 too drastically.

like what?
sorry for being thick but i find it hard to believe this could devalue anything...

Ron burgundy
Russel Crowe 3:10 to Yuma
Or even a axel fowly Eddie murpy lets go crazy

It's not definite but heres my thinking on how they may impact each other (the short version):

First, there were more Bill full sets(30) then Tyler V1(15) and V2(20) made so that's one way that these two are hard to compare to each other.

Right now aside from VM's, there isn't another choice for a high quality Bill full figure. There are only 30 full sets, 20 H & C and 10 clothes only in existence (we'll leave unpainted sculpts out of this). Whoever want's one has to rely on one of these 50(60) sets to become available. And we see how rare they are to come by.

There is only one choice/version for this character as of now, "Brawler Bill". There may be some buyers that jump on this for big bucks because they love and need the character but this may not be the prefered look for them. They're only doing it because it's Bill, and it's the only choice.

By adding a new version to the equation, those people that are willing to spend big bucks on V1 now may prefer V2 for a multitude or reasons. They prefer the look, cheaper, newer...whatever. So interest, demand and commerce swaying from V1 to V2 essentially depreciates V1's stock. Plus what drives a price up is the demand being greater than the supply, and theoretically the supply of this character(generally speaking) would be doubled. Some of this will be neutralized to some degree by the people who will want to own both.

But at the end of the day, the only way that any theory of V2 devaluing V1 would be realistic is if the V2 end product is as impressive as V1. If it doesn't wow the crowd as V1 does, then it will likely have little impact.

:goodpost:

It depends on whether it is a true V2 or another version of Bill, i.e. the street/tophat with full coat look or something else.

Either way I would just on any version from Rainman. Please one come up!

Well. There's only one way to find out for sure...

I'm worried about you man. Please don't put up your Bill for a desperate price.

PopcultKid's explanation was very well put.

But in laments terms fellas, let's stop trying to water down the hooch. There are so many interesting characters that should be explored. This whole backpedaling of characters lacks creativity. I'm guilty of wanting a V2 Alex, but you know why? Because I missed the bus on V1. Let's be real here. The less of things around the better. This isn't Hottoys, so let's not get this twisted. If you missed out, then you missed out, but let's keep it moving!

I have to disagree with you man and frankly I can't see any reason for your stance other than you want to bang people over the head. Not really sure why you would get pissed at someone else not shAring your monetary interests and choosing to be a nice guy and pass something desirable along for a decent price or why you value your stuff by whether you have what others don't but that's your call.
As for the v2 bill or v2 alex: judging by the way most of us freaks go about collecting--I highly doubt there would ever be less interest in a rainman or an Adam gu or Any of the other coveted customizers. As people, myself included want multiple versions of our favorite characters. I mean I have about six ledger/jokers and still am in the market for more. And I don't think I'm alone in this. But maybe it's just me and I'm missing the point.

Actually there are two velvet morning butchers: a brawler and a v2.

Turbo, you are speaking my language.
