I can't tell yet if the way he modded the feet to fit will kill my long foot peg idea. I'm hoping not. But judging by that last pic, the boots look a bit high but not as bad as I thought they would

Yea it seems that it shouldn't. I just got a bit confused on what his mod was but at the end of the day, the sockets in the ankle and foot will receive the peg. I have to see it in hand to make a final decision but I still may do it if the boots look high. They do look a bit high in those pics but I want to see in hand how much room there is from the top to the knee.

I'm confused too I see what he did, I just don't know why. He removed the socket from the foot and cut down the oppisite side of that that receives the foot peg...I'm assuming to shorten it????? But not sure why...

Maybe so the foot can bend to fit into the boot?

I agree PopCultKid. I think i know what he did but not sure why either. to shorten him? Odd since many think the boot is too high, it makes more sense to lengthen him as you suggested with the long pegs

Here's the remedy to our knee high boot problem gentlemen. It'll give him his accurate height and the boots will end far enough under his knee again. Most of you are familiar with the long foot pegs but this is for those of you that aren't. There was another fig or two that had them besides Cap and Arnie but I can't remember now

now has me contemplating an oily version on the HS i will be modding with hair. but its a tough call: the 'well gusher' scene or the 'gimme the blood'.... decisions...

I still feel like the oily head should have been the DX and not left up to luck.

A lot of money is being paid for these figures to be leaving things up to luck.

The oily head looks great BTW.

If I was a fan of TWBB coming in to this project I would have been very disappointed the oily head wasn't the DX.

So what will the DX be for Anton? The air gun?

Hey guys- I think what Rainman is illustrating is simply rounding off the edge at the bottom of the pegs so they fit easily into the base of the boots. I could be wrong but that is what I gather; as he said "you can put in well in shoes". There is probably fabric inside near the opening of the hole making it difficult to squeeze the peg in. Rounding the pegs edge will help you guide and slide them in better.
