I have to disagree with you man and frankly I can't see any reason for your stance other than you want to bang people over the head. Not really sure why you would get pissed at someone else not shAring your monetary interests and choosing to be a nice guy and pass something desirable along for a decent price or why you value your stuff by whether you have what others don't but that's your call.
As for the v2 bill or v2 alex: judging by the way most of us freaks go about collecting--I highly doubt there would ever be less interest in a rainman or an Adam gu or Any of the other coveted customizers. As people, myself included want multiple versions of our favorite characters. I mean I have about six ledger/jokers and still am in the market for more. And I don't think I'm alone in this. But maybe it's just me and I'm missing the point.

Yes, I think your missing the point. Let's move on is all I'm saying. That's the most important thing. Do I treat some of these peices as small investments? Yes. Do I want to protect my intial $1000 and see some of these peices grow in monitery value? Yes. There's nothing wrong with that. Have I sold any of my high end pieces? I ain't banging you over the head because I'm not trying to sell you nothing, but you're stressing this V2 Bill somthing strong and it's coming off like your sour about missing out on the V1. There are people who are paying top dollar for this on the second hand
market. If you really about it, then go for yours. Otherwise let's keep it moving.

Of course. No offense to the VM owners but I personally don't put those in the same league as RM bill. They're cool figs, don't get me wrong, but RM Bill is a hall of famer. A VM Brawler recently sat in the FS thread at original MSRP for a long time. IDK if it sold or not. A RM Bill at $2000 wouldn't last 48 hours.

And I'm not 100% opposed to certain V2s. You asked why I thought a V1 can depreciate a V2 and I just stated some of the reasons I can see how it may. Just speculating about what swings and sets market value, because market value is a part of collecting. And I said that's the short version because I left A LOT out 'cause didn't want to open that can of worms and send the thread into meltdown. I rather spend my time and energy talking about Danny boy's boots

Wow you kInd of need to chill. I am not sour, I wasn't around when they were available and I'm doing what I can to find what I want. It's pretty straight forward. As for banging people over the head I say that because you act like its your decision or any of ours what a guy like rainman chooses to do with his art. When you create something other than calling me a crackhead then your word will be law.
I don't see why you're having a conniption cuz people are requesting something. For your info, I am in the process of putting a bill bash together so being bitter has nothing to do with it. I think--like most of us seem to--that rainman does nice work and he is a nice enough guy that he lets us be some small part of the selection process.
I don't know but somehow your opinion is paramount and when you want us to stop requesting something then we have to?
Look he may never do a v2. And that's the game. And you have a right to ask whatever price you feel is warranted for your pieces. I just don't get why you're being so aggressive.
And as for the Adam piece that's for sale, yeah I've seen it and it's great but personally I have a hard time convincing myself to spend 900 onthe Kato custom (as dope as it is) because of the 2.0 dx--which I actually have a second overcoat coming from toy anxiety.

Yeah I agree with you on the vm butchers; they're nice but I prefer the rainman. But I might spring for the vm v2 next time I see it available so I can bash the gear with a rainman HS.
As for the whole market value issue: like you say it is probably a lot more complicated than I'm giving it credit for and like I said before I'm not trying to mess up anyone's value.

Sorry to hear you couldn't grab milkshake man. It is looking dope. Hey I don't know if this will help you at all but I have an idea on how you might be able to get one--but I'm not positive it's still available. Worth a try tho.
Ok so I ordered a painted HS+outfit. And paid. Then went back a few days later and grabbed an unpainted resin to mod into an oily hair version. But the original order was still in my cart and when I tried to remove it it asked me if I was sure I wanted to cancel. So afraid of losing my order/place in line I put through another order and now had two paint HS+outfit. So I contacted rainman and we worked it out but... And here's my long-winded point: he might still have that extra painted HS+outfit. I would try him and ask. Can't hurt.

Lol, Thanks but I made the sacrifice to skip Daniel in hopes of Anton. Bickle's my grail, but even I feel like I'm not ready for that yet, because once it happens, I'm getting it and I'm leaving this hobby to more capable Folk$.

I'll get another Top 10 going during the Anton project and compile everyone's top ten again. With Bateman and Anton off the list it could get interesting. I'm guessing Jack Torrance and Bickle will be heading that list, but other figures could sneak in and take the top spot.

Of course the winner of the Top ten doesn't guarantee it will be Rainman's next project, but it is interesting to know what the results are.
