Amazing. I think I would have bought this if the hatless head was the regular fullset sculpt. I know the hat goes with the outfit and all, but the hatless sculpt is just king for me.

I have been I now officially have my own King of Pain remix drilled into my head.


Short on playtime today boys but I'll share my initial thoughts. I'm gonna hold off on a full pic spread till I finish my tweaks and recieve my commissioned extras. I did get an extra painted head so I'll post pics tonight of all three head: DX, hatted and Aeon's paint up so you can compare. No offense to Aeon because she is indeed a talented painter. But to all those who were questioning why a H&C set is so much less than a full set, and you wanted to know what more you get besides a body and another accessory. YOU GET THE MAN'S PAINT WORK. That's where the money's at!


THIS PIECE IS STUNNING! You get the idea from the pic spread on his site but in hand he has so much presence. Staring at him I can almost hear him pitching himself as an oil man, grumbling about the pipeline or screaming ******* FROM A BASKET!

The accessories are of course top notch as we'd expect nothing less from the accessory king. Pipe has great texture and detail and a painted effect of ash in the bowl. The flaming stick is very cool in hand and has grown on me. The bowling pin is cool as hell and the paint aps to create the wood grain effect are stellar; really beautiful in hand, just wish it had some blood on it

The big plus in the final product which is a BIG improvement from the proto is the stubble. In the proto he's very clean shaven, but Rainmain added stubble and it adds BIG TIME points to the sculpt. It's straight up black, not salt & pepper, but it is still a phenomenal and necessary touch.

Where this loses points:

Boots could've been left alone. They're not high enough to be a heartbreaker, but they were better off as they were. Also there's a little too much of the dusty weathering effect(you can see in Robbie's pics). Again, not a total heartbreaker but I thought they looked better in the promos.

KNOCK OFF BODY?!?!?!? I'm not sure what the deal is what this. Granted it's not the old flimsy, floppy batch that Iminime was using recently. This is MUCH tighter and is compatible with HT hand pegs. So I'll be glad to see Iminime using these going forward but I think my $1000 calls for an official TT It can stand on it's own and hold poses and everything, but there is a noticible difference when bending the joints. These are incredibly improved from the old knockoffs, but still not on par with the real deal.

Despite the cons, all and all it's a SICK piece!

Yea rainman really shouldnt be straying from TT's for the price tag a TT should be a given.

Wow yea that's not rly acceptable imo, especially considering the knockoffs can be had for $20 a pop, overall he cut close to $1000 out of his materials costs using knockoffs. Should have at least applied that discount to the consumers but you guys did make him redo the boots which probably cost some extra dough.
