I posted some Milkshake Man backpack ref pics in the satchel interest thread. Robbie would be happy to take the project forward if there is enough interest. So let's hear it freaks!

Sucks you guys have to pay more on top of a full figure though tbh, just curious why you didn't get on RM about the satchel during production, seems like this figure was fairly simple compared to some of his offerings.

I really hope he steps up his game again soon, too many simple outfits lately imo. Really want to see him tackle something upto his skill level like a 2001 Space Suit or the like. His Dude and Wonka were alot more impressive in contrast imo. Anton seems like another easy one.

I wish there was a bigger price difference between the complex and simple pieces :dunno

Whilst Milkshake Man is one of his more simple releases, it is as effective as any on the shelf. It holds so much presence. I guess that could be a love for the character but i really do believe this is as good as any.

Reason why I will likely be a clothing/painted head for Anton only. ESP with aeon paint I cannot justify the full any longer. :(

Well I understand a set price but I personally want bang for my buck. Anton seems like a real waste of our money and especially a waste of RM's talent for such a simple outfit. You can literally piece togeather his outfit on ebay right now. Jean Jacket, Jeans, brown shirt. Not only is it easy and exists, it's **** all boring. I prefer to see a figure that cannot be bashed because the parts simply don't exist. Wonka, Dude, Bill were all prime examples. Can't blame RM because he's just giving the gang mentality what they want but I would like to see more along the lines of his Stuart Little even if it's not something I'd buy.

Personally I don't see this, maybe in your mind because of the performance, but I guarentee if you showed it to casual people he wouldn't pop out at all in a lineup w/ Dude, Wonka, Bill, Tyler V2 etc.

Do you like your Trav Bickle custom Mike?

I do and it's not something I'm interested in seeing RM take on, the only things I'd want to buy at this point would be something like a Raoul Duke or Dave Bowman just off hand. Things that are complicated and impressive head to toe.

I'd rather RM let Iminime release the likes of Anton, Travis, even Jack Torrance and maybe just sculpt the heads.

You do. Can you please explain to me what is so visually appealing about him then? Don't get me wrong I love that figure and I am desperate for RM to tackle him but I am not the one constantly on his back for not taking on visually interesting characters.

About Travis? He really isn't all that visually appealing but I'm not saying he is. That's pretty much exactly my point, everything for him already exists in pretty good standards, and you can piece him togeather yourself for well under $1000.

Especially now that Iminimes in the picture and RM's involved, I'd rather see him focus on pushing his talents then another pair of jeans. I didn't agree w/ the character choice of Doc for example, but his outfit was certainly far more striking and impressive then say Anton.

:exactly:...THATS WHY I ONLY WENT AFTER THE HS/C INSTEAD OF A FULL FIGURE......

I have never understood this argument. Different strokes for different folks I guess but I don't need a shelf full of Wonka's. To me it should be more about the character and the film. Why wouldn't we want one of the most gifted figure artist making these iconic characters.

I agree to an extent but do you really want to pay $1000 for a P.Seymour Hoffman figure from Love Liza? For me it's both. Awesome movie, awesome character + something visually appealing. RM is indeed one of the best which is why I want him to push himself. Stuart Little was incredibly impressive though not something I'd buy. Theres plenty of characters that are the total package and I'd prefer to see his abilites put to work on those, it's just my preferance. DDL was also amazing in My Left Foot but I'm hoping RM isn't considering that one. :lol

Well I want to pay $1000 for Daniel Plainview and Anton that's for sure! I want to spend my money on figures I love because I love that film and that character. I don't need all my figures to pop like Wonka. Sure there are films I love but have no desire to own figures from it.

And that's all I'm saying it's just preferance. But the fact is you don't have to pay $1000 for an Anton, everyone could have pushed Denny to do that w/ RM sculpting and it would satisfy that same urge at a far better price point while still having his artistic talents in play on it and opening up more time for him to focus on an all around more impressive piece. Thats all I'm getting at. RM is amazing but I don't want a $300 pair of RM Jeans. :duff

I do want a Raoul Duke.

I wonder if anything like the shooting glasses are holding it up, I hope RM will figure out a way to do things like Sunglasses, I remember he could never figure out how to do Tyler's. Would probably be a hold up for something like a space suit helmet for Bowman as well.

Yeah it is personal preference at the end of the day. I am not trying to be argumentative bud, just never understood this argument. Oh and for the record I would love an RM Bowman!!!

A Bowman would be a must buy- and if it was a Rainman/Denny project, a coverall version would be great.

When I recieved my Stansfield ( the only fullset I've ever bought ) it felt special. I don't know if it was because I'd paid so much or because it wasn't a hot toys figure but it just felt worth it. I'd imagine it was mainly because I finally had my grail !. That was probably the simplest figure Rainman tackled but I don't regret spending a penny and I'd sell the Dude 100% before I sold it ( debating it actually with the price they seem to be fetching :monkey1 ) so I guess for me it also boils down to the movie and love of the character.

I'll be hopefully picking up an Anton clothing set and sculpt and whilst I'd love to go for a full set for me personally it's about justifying $1000.00 for any other characters. I might just pick up a sculpt yet to stick on my brothers production figure.

As for the next figure I'd like to see Bickle or Torrance. The only personal grail I'll probably never see is an Oldboy.
