I'm sure the accounts of people making wishes. Sideshow sees you when you're sleeping, they know when you're awake; They know if you've canceled a preorder, so be good for goodness sake!

After what Chicky said yesterday, it's too bad I didn't mention that the item I wished for was something I canceled earlier this year.

I asked for what I canceled as well. Unfortunately I had to cancel. I wanted the Lara Snow Day but times got tough.

Which also, something sad is I had to cancel my orders for the Harry Potter robes. There is a charity here in Austin called Brown Santa and they don't have enough food to serve the people they normally do. So I needed to use a lot of that money to help buy food so people don't go without. I know doing good is great, but I wont lie, I am sad about the robes. But most sad about Lara since that was not a choice I made to serve. I just didn't have the funds.

It might not comfort you, but karma and the warm fuzzy feeling of helping those less fortunate will go a long way.

Things are rough. I recently had to cancel all of my SS orders because my son needs a new carseat sooner than expected, my water heater went out last month, my car got two flat tires thanks to construction going on at work and the refridgerator, whose warranty ironically ran out six months ago, has a faulty thermostat which raises the temperature unbelievably in a short amount of time. It'll be a while until I can get back into the groove of getting SSC orders again but I'm looking forward to it and got something really kick ass from the Mistress this year so I'm not complaining.

The Give Back program as well as the wish program are just two of reasons why despite the complaining and the _____ing and the critics Sideshow is still my favorite company.

I got all excited this morning when my wife said there was a delivery truck outside, but it turns out it was for the previous owners of our new place who forgot to give a change of address. My year has been hell living beside a drummer and his band, who practice daily from 10pm on, so we've finally been able to move. i asked for a hellboy pf just because it seemed fitting, and I have no Hb in my Hb collection. He's not on the list, but I'll still keep my fingers crosses.

The one I really regret right now is the Kratos exclusive. But family comes first.

Ouch! Yeah man same here. Wife is still unemployed and baby #2 is due in March so all my funds have been going to Drs appts and catching up on bills.

This is so great and so stressful.....

Since the first wish was fulfilled, every time a UPS or Fedex truck drives by I look to see if they will stop. My heart almost stopped yesterday when the UPS truck stop in front of my house........and delivered me a pair of shoes I bought for my nephew.....

Hahahaha, I do the same thing.


And wow, I must have missed that Give Back comment Chicky left. That's amazing that Sideshow cares that much about customer loyalty (which is VERY rare these days). I guess I should have left a comment when I cancelled my orders.

Well, I just found out that my awesome wife submitted me for a christmas gift and the mistress granted it!!! Not sure what it is but the box is huge!!! Can't wait to open it up. I'll be posting pics on christmas day!!!
