Oh.. forgot to post this one! Someone on a MK forum asked that I make them a custom JC. I have to play around with it before I could commit to it.

The problem is the headsculpt... couldn't find one I liked. Well, I had a head laying around so I started modifying and adding and removing it. Here is a little preview! This is just the base coat, I need to keep paint it up this weekend. I may end up using a different body... This is from the HT Vietnam figure, and it is just off in skin tone.

I was just looking at images, and really I need black trim around the flaps of his shirt, and white trim along the bottom...

Well, I finally got around to making his long sleeved shirt. This was my first time making one, and it fits him pretty damn well. I still need to trim up a bit, and finish the edges (I thought I had white bias tape, and I didn't).

Next, wrist guards and patches!

It is actually the same blue I used on Sub Zero. I may try to find one a little bit more aqua... but, it will be tough. Limited color selection (same problem we ran into with Reptile)

All the white vs. black makes it look a little lighter...

JD18_92 - Well... I was having trouble doing finding the right green. I have pretty much exhausted my resources on material, so I have kind of put him on the back burner a bit... would still love to do one...

Arsyn - Yes sir! I wish I could embroider my own little patchs, just not feasible. BM and I were having a hard time coming up with other solutions...

I have a whole collection of green fabrics. I found one that I like personally for Reptile, so I may make 1 outfit for me. I know BM felt the right green hasn't been found yet, and he was the only one who expressed interest in owing a reptile as well.

I have been using

and I think it has a really good weight to it, and it is really easy to work with.

6 months into this whole 1/6 collecting and customizing, and I am hooked for life! I love it!

So far I have 8 figures I have purchased, and custom made Sub Zero, Raiden, and 2 Scorpions completed. I am currently working on the Johnny Cage figure, MK Legacy Scorpion, and have just started a Kahn figure. I really want to make a MK 9 Ermac and Klassic Jade or Kitana as well.

After my MK fix is complete, a Ryu Hayabusa will be in the works as well. I am also working on customizing a Captain America motorcycle as well! Fun times ahead good sir, fun times ahead!

Thanks bud! The shoes are a PAIN IN THE ASS to find. I am thinking about using the HT Bank Robber Joker shoes as a starting off point... they will need a lot of work and paint though :
