Looking at the knee pads again, I think they are actualy still the same, but the lighting isn't flattering them enough to show the ridges prominently IMO. If you look close enough you can see the varying shades of light where the ridges would be.

How can it be the lighting? if thats the case it would be the same on v1.

lol well it's possible that the ridges just aren't as well defined as the V1s but I can definately see them there. I guess we'll just have to wait for better pictures to surface before we know for sure.

Ok I know this might have been brought up but if you put a man in a armored suite wouldn't he look thicker?? I mean how thick was his armored suite supposed to be?

I notice they really slimmed down the torso, compared to V1 beer belly.
Its too bad about the knee caps I can't figure out why they would change that, it must have been a functional problem. Maybe the knee could peel if the leg bends too long? Are there any problems bending legs on V1, causing stress on material?

And I still think the belt buckle is way too large, compared to the belt in the movie

Can you please tell me which video / what point you can see the knee caps and the cape?? Can't seem to see them..

nevermind - just saw the backstage pic. I am very impressed. Clearly improved from the proto pics. Looks superb. Slightly concern about the knee but i'm sure it's nothing..

Wow I just saw backstage pic, and youtube demostrations. I was going to skip this figure till now. Even PERS work better than Joker's, it doesn't have that circular movement limitation, eyes can move straight. The transformable gun is sooo cool, makes me want they get Transformers license.

These are all the videos- HERE

There are some very subtle yet significant changes

1 The back of the head on DX has a more defined angle

2 The length of the noes has changed and the ridge under the eye is much 'softer'

3 He can now tilt his head at a deeper angle

4 The shoulder pads are more narrow

5 Pectoral armor lays flatter against the chest. Also the 'tab' under the pec armor is shorter

6 Bicep armor does not extend as far below the shoulder

7 The arm is not as thick and over all body is much more slender

8 stomach is now flat. no gut

9 Abs have been adjusted. Can't see holes in the material now.

10 Space on torso between front and side armor is wider.

11 design of leg armor is more screen accurate.

12 Rear leg can move further back.

13 Knee cap is less accurate.

14 Front of his boots are thicker

15 The cape no longer curves back or hangs off ground

What's up with the knees. I have to believe it's just the lighting. It would be so weird for them to remove all the detailing on the knee pads.

They look fine to me, i just think those little lines are too subtle, but they look like they are there

I think the knees are fine, see this pic here, they barely show, to not at all, but then the same figure a few shots down

What i find is weird, or rather, hate, is how they can go from this cool silvery metallic colored belt, like above and below here, to the cheapy solid yellow look. I know it's just lighting, but even above, it appears clearly a different color/shade. Can't wait to touch mine up, annoys the hell out of me lol

What ... a ... beautiful ... figure!

Amaaaazing. Headsculpt is phenomenal! I love the cowl, I love PERS, i even love the neck. I sooo love the new armor, and even the legs in that movie with the gun. Damn, ...! I haven't expected that he will look so beautiful. Muuuuuuuuuuuch better than the proto-pics. can't wait to see some in-hand pics, especially some pics from the desk-guy

Good lord, I'm freaked out, I'm in love with this figure
