Hopefully just bad angle on the head too, it looks Medi tall and slim

The lighting plays all wonderful and horrible tricks though with this specific cowl.

He does look bulky in those shots but in the backstage pic he looked miles slimmer than the V1, it was like night and day.

Can't wait to see more pics.

the belt dosent seem to have any canisters or what not

Perhaps its the new magnetic belt that comes with the figure? I was aware the magnetic belt had no canisters on it?

One thing I notice helping the new figure look slimmer, the head looks to sit higher off the shoulders than the v1, which is good.

Well, I'll say, those pics, they don't give the best impression. As nice as they are. I wish he had put his two Batman figures side-by-side.

I was expecting to be completely rolled over, like when I first saw the HT backstage pic.

Same here. The backstage pic clearly showed a huge difference in the V1 and DX. Like everyone is stating, perhaps it is just bad angles and photos.

I'm trusting in the HT backstage shot right now, it's a professional shot and a quality lineup next to the v1 for true comparison.

I'm not criticizing this but the cowl looks really gritty/pitted to me compared to the other black plastic parts of the armour.

Those worried about the head, can I remind you of the video Hot Toys just posted the other day.
It looks fine to me

WTF happened, in those last shots? He looks fatter than the v1, like he's actually wearing a fatsuit, almost like he put the new head on a v1 body lol. I agree the promo shot showed a HUGE difference compared to that, let's wait for more pics, but man, those look freakin horrible. Even the legs look huge

This DX Batman looks totally different from the backstage pics ????
He looks very fat and if you compare with the backstage pics it seems that his body was the slim (check the arms, biceps..) and there are some changes in the final product: knee pads slightly diferent.

Anyway, I,ll pass DX batman..I think do not deserve the money if you compare this with the quality and accesories of DX joker

It's just a little bummer that the worst thing about the Medicom figure looks to be duplicated in the HT figure. I'm still optimisitc though, if it can look in hand like this shot from SDCC, then I'm good.
