This figure looks too amazing...
I'm not a fan of the TDK suit either... but it's becoming really difficult not to order this one...

I'm not that worried about the eyes at all. In normal display lighting it will be a non issue.

DX looks great!

The only things I wish were different are the cape (could be thinner) and the shoulder pads (could be smaller).

But they really knocked it out with this one!

Glad I'm passing... Nice figure but not enough for me to warrant buying. I'm happy with the original.... hope I can get some parts here and there though.

Im really impressed. The only thing that bothers me are the eyes. They look really bad and im not really sure how you could fix them. Besides that tho its just about perfect.

The cape adds to things because you lose the silhouette of the torso sides, your eye can't figure if you're seeing figure body shadow or cape, so it just all looks off.

I don't mind the fabric, I dislike the pattern used on the OC figure not being designed to drape over the front of him or being as long as it ought to be though.

The eyes are not that bad.. just depends on the positioning. When the PERS are straight on, based on the product shots on the HT page its not showing that much white. Off angle is a bit more white than one might like but I doubt I will have him stare off center by much as I would not want him to have the mad man look which works really well for DX Joker.
I guess Iforigno's capes will go onto the DX now as I agree that is the only thing that prevents the DX to NOT look realistic. Other details are only a matter of screen accuracy and not realism and would not jump out unless you compare.
This is a serious problem... this addiction

The fabric is way too thick and rigid, period. Every single one.

I think it hangs nicely on the orignal DX figure, and the customs capes I've seen used on the DX alter the look of the shoulders in a way I dont' care for.

Too flat, the thicker cape that comes with it gives a nicer flow from the neck into the shoulders I feel.
