Yeah, I noticed that earlier today!
It's gotta be a clue to something, my first thought was a new horror licence... but then I wondered if it might be T H E - A L I E N !!!!
Oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please!

Well, I don't know if that is the case BUT with the Alien Anni announcement earlier this year, they will need to release proto pics very soon. Maybe this month if they're going to release it by 4th Qtr, 1st Qtr 10. It will prolly be an Alien Beast and Lucky Star Ripley.

I think it may be the GB license. HT will prolly get the GB license as it is being shopped around and with a GB3 Film in the works, Merchandising deals are being made now.

The heck with scruples, I am taking a loss anyway! Think I will put it up on Ebay and see what happens. Its only gonna keep dropping in value the longer i wait.

I am considered "the complainer" in my circle of friends...but coming here to SFF, i can rest easy knowing that i am no where near as nit picky as some of you folks are...i am not saying it's bad, because it's not bad...but i know it's still a "toy" at the end of the day...a really expensive, highly detailed action figure.

I think this one looks amazing, no complaints from me!

Cant wait for this!

No way I could do that to someone.

Nor could I!! But if it does not bother you, this is the best thing to do.

Just glad I sold my customised TDK v1 back in March.

I don't think it is unscrupulous to sell something you no longer want They have access to the latest news just like anyone else so if they are not informed as to what is coming up etc. then it is not my place to educate them. Besides it is a good figure and with the price I am asking it is a real bargain (just put it on the 'bay)

The head is still too long, but pretty sweet figure, nonetheless.

I will have to get this, just for the backpack "look" w/ sticky gun, perched atop my detolf.

This is one beautiful figure. Cinemaquette got some serious catch up to do. I might as well as start collecting 1/6s. Great job HT team!

Well, for what it's worth I think it looks freakin amazing, loving the sonar eyes and sticky gun. The suit and build looks far better to me (but I still love the V1, it's still on my book shelf right now un-modded with BR Jkr and 2 Face).
This just looks like the cherry on top to me. Cant wait to see the DX packaging as well.

Gotta agree with you Bro...thanks for the pics! I for one will definately be keeping my V1 Bats just like I'm keeping my V1 Joker...never can have enough Batman stuff

...I don't know why Medicom and Hot Toys can't seem to get the more rounded shape to the sides.

Same reason SSC didn't get the Vader helm right...important details seem to sometimes fall through the cracks

They seriously need to take this into account. By building up expectations towards a "DX" version for other characters, they are taking away the urgency out of their products. No matter how good HT has been until now, many if not most people would hold off for the best version of something, if they knew.

Well, they will be sure to keep us in the dark.

...the dark knight figures have not been the best quality for production pieces compared to the prototype except for the original costume batman and bank robber joker.

Come on, you have to add Two-Face in there! He was awesome!

The way these DX releases seem to be spaced out, we might not see a DX03 (in our hands) until halfway through 2010. I'm assuming HT doesn't have tremendous resources to divide between all the MMS products and the DX, let alone the non-1/6 stuff.
