Thats exactly what I did and it looks great imo. I'm not dumping this one anytime soon especially when theres like 7 months still to wait for the DX one.

Yeah good idea. I need to keep mine so as to make use of some of these DX extra bits - I do hope they'll be cross compatible. The DX figure itself will be my standard TDK suit Batman with cape and all - and probably the angry face. I'll stick the backpack on one of my version 1s with the sticky gun and belt. My other version 1 shall be the ''empty suit'' from the bat-basement scenes, albeit with its back facing outwards.

Can't wait to see both those displays!

I am, but I will be getting this as well. Currently trying to sell the HT DK that I just bought!

Just keep it and put one of the DX heads on it when it gets released. You got at least 6 months to put aside $200+ for the DX Batman anyway

They NEED to include a Wayne head!

Just have someone here on SSF make you a custom TDK Wayne head to kitbash six months from now. It's gonna happen anway, you'll see.

You must have felt guilty if you had to post that to cover up for others. As that was not the impression you were leading me. As I thought you were loaded, especially when if I recall correctly you said you were getting two of these.

Just saying.

Im loaded, i'll probably buy 4 or 5 of these to keep and flip later on.

Regardless, I still sold my v1 TDK in anticipation for the DX. Only the best goes into my collection, no time for 2nd place and inferior items.

I don't follow what you are getting at. If you mean it was really my feelings, no. I sold mine around March this year as I felt I only needed one Bats.

You wouldn't have posted it if it never bothered you what I said.

Soon as one said they were selling I started to see a trend. All of a sudden it was like all aboard!

I just hate the way some of your commemts always come across so 'high and mighty' to me.

OK, maybe I am just misreading your comments. But 'Porn for the masses' and 'Trend Whores and Fanboys' seems to suggest to me that anyone who now prefers this figure and is selling the v1 is only doing so because they are HT Fanboys or just because others are doing so and not, perhaps, just because this is an improvement.

I just find your posts a little abrasive at times, but then again, this is SSF.

Is there a reason why BBTS has to alter the photos? what's their obsession cutting out the backgrounds even though the pics they have used only has a grey background.

Well, as tempting as Tank sounds (and yes, I do have a purty mouth) ..... I just never really liked this Batsuit. (looks good on film, mainly because you hardly see it) ...but the first film version just looks like Batman to me.

but this figure.... it's just.... soooooo nicely done. Dammit

I'm guessing the BB figures go for silly money these days..... *sigh*

I sold my v1 a while ago, to make way for the medi, which is still a WIP, but i'll be keeping the medi and getting the DX as well

*raises hand* anyone know or have theories how the sonar eyes work...like where are they? do they flip down from the eye sockets? attach separately? I'm a bit perplexed. if this was discussed somewhere in the thread already lemme know too, i just didnt want to search through all those pages in vain. THANKYOOOOOU!

For a minute there I was worrying about him not having Sonar eyes, stupid me! Hot Toys continues to dominate the 1/6 world. This and the DX Joker are why I'm fully addicted to 1/6 now.

Can someone tell me which scene in the movie the smiley/open mouthed expression is supposed to be based on? I don't remember Batman making that expression in the movie. I plan on watching the movie again later tonight. Just got home. I'm beat.

I think it's really odd. The other two are great though.

veryyyy awesome figure, unfortunately i dont think i will get it, but i may try to snag the sticky bomb gun and maybe the heads for my batman...i wonder if they will fit the previous batman??
